Thank you for sharing. I have confirmed the refund was processed after you reached out to accounting and they apologized for the oversight. Switching from a month to 2 month pre order process to a different vehicle that was arriving later that day did cause a little confusion. Hopefully, getting a vehicle that much quicker compensates for some of the frustration and explains some of the confusion. We see that Aaron got involved because you also wished to cancel your vehicle repair after the deal was agreed on. Unfortunately, he was not able to resolve this concern. The trade was appraised in full working condition and stopping the repair after you decided to trade it in would have affected it's value. I know Sales is giving you a free oil change with your purchase and service offered a second one to try an earn your future business back. I hope you can appreciate the trade value aspect of your issue and will come back in the future. We would love your business.

Thank you for your note. But, the frustration and confusion among the staff is not worth a free oil change-- life is too short! I've moved on to another dealer. PS apparently, other buyers have had to chased down their $1,000 "deposit."

This is the first refund deposit we have been privy to regarding a delivered car. I can imagine it isn't the first time there has been a mistake of this caliber but it is a simple resolution and accounting would catch it if you had not. Easily resolved and never warranting a review online or having to escalate to customer relations. From your records it appears the concern and the threat of this negative online review was regarding your service bill. We hope that you will reconsider your position once the dust settles and you've had time to digest why they can't cancel your repair now that you have traded it in. We really wish we could have discussed this aspect of your trade and deal while you were making your new car purchase so we could be on the same page. We would rather have kept you as a happy service customer than gained an unhappy purchase customer. With limited inventory we truly are hoping to build lasting relationships with the new customers we are adding to the family. We welcome you back should your feelings ever change. If not we do hope you enjoy your new Mazda and it plays a part in creating some great memories during your retirement. Please don't hesitate to reach out to customer relations if you have additional questions or need assistance in the future.

Just saw your reply-- I have not gone to social media. I've only replied to customer service email surveys send to me by your company and I'm assuming affiliate organizations that someone provided my email address to-- including this site. I have not reached out to any one. Nor, have I discussed anything other than the challenges regarding the $1,000 "deposit" that I found on my credit card statement.
