UNLIKELY EXPERIENCE !!! My wife and I are retired and decided to be a one-car family. Both cars were out of warranty. We outright sold our Saturn and kept a 2011 Malibu LTZ My wife and I are retired and decided to be a one-car family. Both cars were out of warranty. We outright sold our Saturn and kept a 2011 Malibu LTZ that we liked. We had considered getting a new car for the warranty and always liked the Equinox. We decided to browse the inventory on-sight at Phillips Chevrolet. Shortly after, we were greeted by this smiling face with a great gift of conversation. We talked, shared old experiences, who we knew, and eventually started discussing cars and costs while hassling each other as sales person and buyer. After we gained an understanding of each other, the sales rep, "Rami", said, "I've got a car you can't pass on". My response was "SURE'! "I'll show you" he said. Ok, "let's go see it". Rami told us to stay put. Soon this 2017 Equinox Premier pulled up in front of the window at the desk where we were sitting. He was right! I couldn't help but admire it! We test drove it and worked out a few issues about the new car, traded in the Malibu, and worked out the finances for the sale in an hour or two. I never buy any costly items spontaneously. The experience was easy with Rami. He enjoyed and made the transaction pleasant. I still cannot believe I acted so spontaneously. Thanks for the conversation and the enjoyable transaction. Once I decided on a model the paperwork was lengthy as usual but the staff helped to make the process as smooth and painless as possible. I definitely return for future automobile purchases. More
