With my recent purchase of a 2017 Forester XT Touring, now everyone in my family, including me, has purchased a car at this dealership. I pre-ordered the 2017 model in late June and took delivery in mid-August. When I contacted the dealership by email for a quote I was connected with Rob Bontemps. My experience working with him was fantastic. He was patient with my wife and I test driving multiple cars before deciding on the Forester. When it came time to put together the order and talk numbers he got me a great price. Rob is a great guy, easy to deal with, and attentive to your needs. Usually buying a car is stressful, but not at this dealership. And I really mean that. They really make you feel comfortable through the process and everything is straightforward. In fact, I recommended the dealership to a neighbor who also bought a Forester this year. It was their first time at Liberty Subaru and they said the same thing... great place, easy, satisfied. It was a good car that I drove daily for 5 years and I was very impressed with how it drove in the snow. I’ve had many rear and front drive performance cars which are a handful when the white stuff falls. The full time AWD system in the Subaru is second to none! When I decided to replace my daily driver with a new car I remembered that Subaru I had and how much I liked it. I also remembered Liberty and the good car buying experience I had there. So I returned to Liberty Subaru now in Emerson, NJ to look for another. Rob Bontemps had responded to a quote request I made on the Liberty Subaru website. The quote seemed fair and I setup a time to meet with Rob and take a test drive. Rob was a pleasure to deal with and a true car enthusiast. I immediately knew I made the correct decision coming back to Liberty Subaru. The deal was made on my second Subaru, a Silver 2016 Impreza 2.0i Limited. Worth the drive!! I was in the market for a specific color and package of the 2016 Subaru BRZ. When I saw the closest dealer carrying the car was about a 2 hour drive a I was in the market for a specific color and package of the 2016 Subaru BRZ. When I saw the closest dealer carrying the car was about a 2 hour drive away, I thought it was a slight inconvenience but made the drive because I loved the car and hoped the dealer and myself would be able to come to a reasonable deal. Little did I know, the car wasn't the only thing that was worth the drive!! Rob was a pleasure to deal with! Never pressured me to make a deal, was very up front and honest with the entire process and answered any and all questions I posed to him with honesty and respect. This is my third new Subaru and it was by far the best buying process of the 3! I'm sure they'll be a fourth sometime in the future and, honestly, I may have to make the drive back when that time arrives! It was well worth it!! Thanks again to Rob, and of course Nikki in finance for the great explanation and breakdown of my trade and subsequent new purchase, you made it a worthwhile experience!!! More
