We have purchased 3 other vehicles from South Oak over the years and we have always been satisfied with the service and the value we have received there. Sales personnel are friendly and helpful, but not the years and we have always been satisfied with the service and the value we have received there. Sales personnel are friendly and helpful, but not "pushy". They have always worked with us to come up with a price that was better that any other dealer and that we were happy with. They have always had a great selection of new vehicles so that we have been able to find a car in stock that fit our needs perfectly. The service department has always been prompt and professional, getting the repairs right the first time and on time, at a reasonable price. More

I started my experience with South Oak via the internet - I was doing some research on a Chrylser 200 for my father and requested an e-quote. Shannon Guest called immediately after receiving my request. Shannon was very helpful and answered all my questions. When we arrived at the dealership we were assisted by Robert Booth, he was very accomodating and worked to get a car in my father's price range. My father was originally interested in the Chrysler 200 and Bob tried to find one is his price range - when he couldn't get down to my fathers price, Bob suggested we look at the Avenger which he said we could probably get in the range my father wanted to pay for a car with his trade in. The Avenger was a almost the same as the 200 and my father was happy with it. We had been to a another dealership where we were treated poorly, as though we were idiots who didn't know the first thing about buying a car just because I am a woman and my father is elderly. I didn't experience anything like that at South Oak, we were treated respectfully and I felt the price was fair - I would definitely consider buying another car here. More

As a consumer for a new vehicle I was skeptical to the process of buying from a dealership that I had not dealt with before, having bad experiences before with other dealership. Well it was time to buy a process of buying from a dealership that I had not dealt with before, having bad experiences before with other dealership. Well it was time to buy a new vehicle, a Jeep is what I had in mind. I called several dealerships for quotes. Most of the response were basically to call them by phone, however South Oak Jeep/Dodge/Chrysler had caught me at home and ask me to test drive their vehicle. As I came to the dealership’s door, I was warmly greeted and was directed to the person I talked to on the phone. The negotiation was carried out by the sale person, Robert Booth. The first thing about Robert is his professional mannerism and interest in meeting to my needs. We went for a test drive in a Jeep Wrangler Sport automatic. I was impress by the vehicle’s all out performance. As we returned to his desk we worked out the price which I of course wanted the lowest price I can negotiate with him. The price was still too high for my price I had in mind, Robert than went to his manager to see if he could bring the price down a bit. He return and explain the details as to what my monthly payment would be, but I was set on the sale price. He then proceed to show me the rebate I would get from my employer and this will bring the price down plus lowering the sale price to meet my ideal price I had in mind. This was all done on paper in which I did not get a copy of. Anyway I wanted a white or silver vehicle, non was in stock of course. Robert made a few calls and got a manual transmission, Commando Green Jeep for me. I was satisfied but it will only be available on the next two days. Well I arrived the third day to pick up the vehicle and was please with it. Back to the negotiation again, I ask to the selling price of the vehicle again to confirm. I was confused to the higher price at the top of the “pre-contract” page. Robert explained the rebate was included in the sale price and was deducted in a another column below. After he explain this to me I was satisfied to sign the contract. I was warmly greeted by the financial personnel, we sat and she tried to sell me a extended warranty, I declined, no hassle, fine! The only problem I has was obtaining insurance since the dealership does not offer a temp. insurance. I waited two hours for the paperwork to be faxed to the dealership, no fault of the dealership but terrible assistance from the personnel of the insurance company. Well I need to get the vehicle to my home, since I arrived alone. Robert offered to follow me back with the Wrangler and another car to follow behind him, I offer to drive him back but he declined. All in all this is the best experience I ever had with a dealership in my life, and Robert Booth should get a big bonus from his employer for his exceptional work he had done for me. Thanks. More

Cannot say enough great things about this dealership. I was in contact with Shannon Guest during the first stages of the car buying process. I was looking for a mineral gray 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limit was in contact with Shannon Guest during the first stages of the car buying process. I was looking for a mineral gray 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited, which was a very hard to find color and they actually found a dealership in Michigan, which had the exact vehicle I was looking for. They shipped the vehicle via flat bed, for no additional cost. Price was the best price I could find, and I received proposals from over 20 Jeep dealerships. When I arrived at the dealership I dealt mostly with Robert Booth. Robert and Shannon had the vehicle cleaned and parked it inside the service dock so that I could inspect it under the lights of the shop (I picked it up at night). After inspecting the vehicle, Robert ran through the basics of the deal and was very honest, sticking to the deal we worked out over email and phone. Lisa with the financing department was great and got me through all of the paperwork very quickly, as I requested. The thing that impressed me the most about the dealership was that after the deal was done, Robert spent 15 minutes or so and showed me all the bells and whistles on the vehicle, along with answering any questions I had. Ray also helped out with part of the technical demonstration. Note that this assistance was being given after the dealership's standard closing time of 6 PM on Saturday! Cannot recommend this dealership enough and I look forward to shopping here again. More

We have bought several vehicles from South Oak over the years but the last transaction from service was very traumatic and we decided that we would not return to South Oak so we went to Pearl Dodge and bou years but the last transaction from service was very traumatic and we decided that we would not return to South Oak so we went to Pearl Dodge and bought a new mini van. My husband was in need of a new vehicle and went to Pearl Dodge and they did not have what he was looking for so he decided to return to South Oak. They were extremely friendly and wanted to know what they could do to win our trust. We was overtaken by the concern and willingness to help. So we have purchased another vehicle from South Oak. We left feeling great about our purchase.Let's see how the service area handles things. Robert was caring and very easy to work with. And we think that Lisa Castillo is the greatest and most friendly person. Thank you South Oak for making my husband happy with his new truck. More

This is the 5th and 6th vehicle (purchased 2 today) consecutively purchased from South Oak. I am very pleased with the service I received from all 3 person's listed above. This was my 2nd purchase with consecutively purchased from South Oak. I am very pleased with the service I received from all 3 person's listed above. This was my 2nd purchase with Robert Booth as the salesman and it was a very enjoyable experience. With Robert there are no games, he gives a very fair price right from the start. I'm sure that I will be back when it's time to buy a car again (and Robert will be my salesman).....Very Pleased! More
