The dealership was made aware of a deal that was made through fraud and misrepresentation by a bad employee. I accompanied my friend to the Kia dealership because he needed a vehicle ASAP! His current car which he is still paying for is inoperable and currently being held at a mechanic until he pays the diagnostic needed a vehicle ASAP! He brought his vehicle from “OK” carz 6 months ago and has had several issues. He had to pay $6000 to get it repaired but was not able to pay it so he came to Kia to find another vehicle to allow him to get to work. My friend tried to get approved but was denied. Rolando stepped in and convinced me to co sign for my friend which I had serious reservations about. He assured us that I would be off the contract in 3 months and at that point, my friend would be able to refinance after 3 months and after he paid 3 biweekly payments. He also said he would give me $1000 total for co-signing. We told Rolando that my friend was still paying for old vehicle and that he didn’t want to have two car payments. Rolando stated he would give my friend the money to pay the diagnostic fee and towing fee and that he would call “ok” carz to explain the situation. Rolando promised my friend that he wouldn’t owe OK Carz any money due to the company being a “buy here, pay here” establishment just as long as he returned the car. He also stated he would send us an email guaranteeing that his vehicle would be refinanced after 3 months (he never sent the email). Because of these reasons, I agreed to co sign for my friend. Rolando also convinced me to purchase my own vehicle from Kia as well on the same day. He promised that my payments would be at $500 after I financed. I would have to pay 3 biweekly payments before I was eligible to refinance. Rolando drove my new car to me and I signed the paperwork in the vehicle. He said he couldn’t give me any copies of the paperwork because he wasn’t allowed to and that it would be emailed to me. I never received any paperwork. He drove my old car (trade-in)back to the dealership. Everything was well until he stopped answering our text regarding the status of our checks, and if he called OK carz. We saved all texts regarding this. My friend is now at a point where he will possibly have 2 car payments because he listened and trusted Rolando’s guidance. Everything that Rolando said he would has not been done. NOTHING! I still don’t even have my car’s paperwork. My friend and I went to Kia Mitsubishi today and spoke to JR about our concerns and he definitely made us feel at ease. He said he would ensure everything would be taken care of. If you go to Kia Mitsubishi, and you meet Rolando, don’t believe anything he says because he is a con artist. More
