The alternator and brakes are safety items. Also, there was no state inspection sticker on the car, which means I have to wait in line to have the car inspected.

We are sorry you are having problems with the 2011 CRV with 118,000 miles that you purchased from us. We are quite thorough when it comes to reconditioning our used cars. In addition to the standard fluids and filters that we normally exchange, the following work was also done to your CRV prior to your purchase: Honda Recalls, Replace the coolant bypass pipe, cosmetic upgrades, Front brake pads and rotors, Rear Brake pads and rotors, Replaced miscellaneous exhaust components.
Please, in the future, if you purchase another vehicle from us, we would like to know if you discover problems with the vehicle after taking delivery. That vehicle was delivered with a 6/6 powertrain warranty. The repairs you mention are somewhat unassociated with each other and more than likely are not powertrain oriented. However, we would have found a way to help with the corrections if we did the work.

You originally visited to purchase a Honda Certified Preowned CIvic SI to which we worked with you on price and trade value. 2 weeks after purchasing your Honda Certified Preowned Civic SI you inquired about purchasing a new Civic SI and asked why we did not present that to you on your first visit. Our response was that we showed you the specific vehicle you came to see. There was no reason to show you a different vehicle. As there is no return policy on the purchase of a vehicle, we compromised the sale price of the New Honda Civic SI and paid full value for the trade in order to help you purchase the new Honda Civic SI. You accepted the terms and completed the transaction. It is never our policy to rip off a customer. Everything was clearly presented in order for you to make an informed decision. And under no pressure you decided to complete the purchase.
Moving forward we hope you enjoy driving your new SI and we wish you many thousands of safe miles.
