I went with my daughter to buy a new car and the prospect of driving 40 miles from Northern VA to Gaithersburg MD ever had the pleasure of meeting! I went with my daughter to buy a new car and the prospect of driving 40 miles from Northern VA to Gaithersburg MD in rush hour traffic was the last thing I wanted to do, but I'm glad I did. Russell had spoken with my daughter the night before and had the car she was interested in ready and waiting for her to test drive. Peter in the finance department was awesome as well. He explained everything clearly, answered all of our questions and concerns and basically, made sure that my daughter got the best financing available to her. As we were getting ready to drive home in the new car, Russell walked us out and made sure that my daughter knew how to operate all of the features on her vehicle that were new to her. With these two gentlemen on their team, it's no wonder that Criswell is the award winning dealership that it is!! Russell Carter was the best salesperson I have ever worked with. I submitted an inquiry online about trading in my used car and he immediately reached out, despite it being after business hours. He then followed up the next morning, providing all information requested as well as pricing and photos. I was originally not looking forward to making the drive from Manassas to Gaithersburg, but after meeting and speaking with Russell, he made the trip worth it. He was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond my expectations for a new car purchase. Speaking with him was like speaking with a family member that I've known forever. He even had my 2021 trailblazer pulled up, running with the AC on so we wouldn't have to wait for it to cool off for the test drive. We were in and out of the dealership in less than 3 hours. My experience with Russell (and Peter and frankly the whole team at Criswell!) makes me want to buy a car every other week because it was such an enjoyable experience. I have already recommended this dealer and dealership to my entire family and will continue to recommend it to anyone I know that is looking for a new.
