I generally do not write negative reviews, but I feel it is important to document our recent experience at the Kia dealership in Cape Coral involving the general manager, Ryan Gambill. Because of the seriousness of the situation and the way it was handled, we have also submitted this experience to the Better Business Bureau and filed a complaint with Kia Corporate. Our family has been customers of this dealership for over four years and has purchased three vehicles there. Until this most recent visit, our experiences had been positive. In May 2025, we purchased a new 2025 Kia Telluride X-Line SX from this dealership. Florida is not our primary residence, and in the ten months since purchase the vehicle has accumulated only about 3,000 miles. During our most recent trip, we noticed that the black leather seats had begun fading significantly, in some areas appearing almost white. Because of this, the condition of the seats raised concerns that there may be a defect in the material, dye, or protective coating. This was unexpected because we have owned other Kia vehicles with black leather interiors and have never experienced this issue. The vehicle is parked under an insulated carport, and previous vehicles stored in the same location did not experience similar fading. We visited the dealership to ask what might have caused the issue and whether there were any potential solutions, warranty considerations or goodwill coverage might apply. After speaking with several staff members who were unable to assist, we were directed to speak with the general manager. During that conversation, we were informed that the dealership did not consider this to be their responsibility and that they would not be addressing the issue. Several possible causes were suggested to us, including the possibility that a cleaning product had been used on the seats or that sun exposure may have caused the fading. Neither was the case in this situation. When we asked whether the matter could potentially fall under any warranty coverage, we were told that it would not and they would not cover it. At the time of the discussion, there appeared to be uncertainty regarding the purchase date and whether any additional coverage had been purchased. No offer was made to contact Kia directly to explore whether any options might exist. He just continued stating he didn’t understand how we could possibly think this was their problem and made no attempt to help us find a solution. Because the discussion was not progressing toward any resolution, we ultimately ended the conversation and left the dealership. At that time, we indicated that we would likely seek service elsewhere in the future. Before leaving, we were informed that we would be removed from the dealership’s system and would no longer be able to schedule service appointments there. In our view, the situation might have been resolved more constructively if there had been an effort to review the concern more thoroughly or explore possible solutions with the manufacturer. As long-time customers who had purchased multiple vehicles from this dealership, the experience was extremely disappointing. We are sharing this experience so that it is documented and so that others are aware of how poorly this situation was handled. More

BUYERS BEWARE! ! My wife and I are extremely disappointed with how this car purchase was handled and would strongly caution others to review every detail before sign ! The final sales agreement did not reflect what was discussed and crossed out on 1st worksheet (see pics). In addition to a $2,000 dealer fee, the dealership added $2,552 for window tint, paint protection, and wheel locks — products we did not request and that were never even installed on the vehicle. These charges appear to have been added simply to increase the total price of the deal. Even more concerning, we were never provided a copy of the purchase contract — not by email, printed copy, or USB. That lack of transparency made it very difficult to review the details after the fact. We basically had to drive back to pick up copies. We brought these issues directly to the General Manager, Ryan, hoping to resolve the situation professionally. Unfortunately, no meaningful effort was made to correct it. The signing process also felt rushed and pressured. We had to leave to pick up our son, they knew and had us waiting for the very last minute, so we would sign in a rush and not notice the change to the documents that were not clearly explained before we were asked to sign. Looking back, the lack of explanation combined with the added charges feels intentional and deeply misleading. Purchasing a vehicle is a major financial decision. We expected honesty and transparency, but instead left feeling taken advantage of. I strongly encourage anyone considering buying here to slow the process down, question every charge, and refuse to sign until every item is clearly explained and documented. More

Avoid this dealership at all cost. Went to see a $19k Mazda. Salesman Chad told me he’d remove all these extra fees and gave me an out the door cost of $23k. I agreed to that amount. Then I was taken to the finance office and was told what my monthly payment would be based on my down payment and interest rate. I was shown the monthly payment cost but not the full price of the car. When I agreed to the monthly cost, I was then told where to sign on every sheet. Turns out they charged me $32k for the car. They never removed any fees as was agreed upon. Since I had no reason to distrust them, I simply signed where they told me to. When I found out days later I went back and the manager basically told me “oh well, your fault for not looking at the papers you signed”. I told him to ask Chad, that he’ll confirm that he indeed told me the out the door cost would be $23k because he told he’d remove all those extra fees, and he said it didn’t matter what Chad or I say, it matters what I signed. If that’s not enough, the car is infested with roaches which was not disclosed in the contract. More

Still an unresolved horrible experience. We feel totally taken advantage of not only in the price of the car, but financing thru this dealer. Over sold on buying a "Basic" extended warranty and told we could cancel - don't hold your breath waiting for the refund of the amout that is tacked on to the loan and increasing daily with per diem and finance charges.
