After shopping around and visiting quite a few Jeep dealerships, I decided to contact South Oak even though I live in the north suburbs and they were over an hour away. I initally worked with Shannon dealerships, I decided to contact South Oak even though I live in the north suburbs and they were over an hour away. I initally worked with Shannon Guest via the internet and Shannon quickly provided me a quote on a new 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland and was also able to give me an accurate estimate on my trade-in which most dealers will not do without you walking through their door. At no time did I feel any pressure to stop by and was not subject to any game playing that the Jeep dealership in Downers Grove tried to pull. I decided to make the trip to South Oak and it was well worth my time. I spoke with their sales manager Mark Hester who had me work with their sales consultant Ryan Ganser. Ryan clearly explained all of the features on the vehicle that I was interested in and he was very knowledgable about the product. Again I did not feel pressured whatsoever and felt very comfortable working with Ryan. After agreeing on the vehicle that I liked I gave him the pricing that Shannon and I agreed to over e-mail. Mark then approved that pricing, no questions asked. I then worked with Al in finance who got me a great rate and was a great guy as well. Again, no pressure to add extended warranty's or any other add-on's. This whole process took less than two hours and I headed home in my new Jeep. This was by far the best car buying experience that I ever had.The pricing and service that I received from Shannon, Ryan, Mark and Al where second to none and I would highly recommned them. I usually trade in my vehicle every couple of years and there is no doubt that I will be back to South Oak. More

I had been researching Jeep Wrangler's in the area. when my husband walked in he was approached by Ryan. Ryan went out of his way to find the car we were looking for with all the specifications we want when my husband walked in he was approached by Ryan. Ryan went out of his way to find the car we were looking for with all the specifications we wanted. When we couldn't find the one I wanted, he suggested we order it direct from the manufacturer. All said and done, my Jeep was ordered in the color I wanted and with all the bells and whistles. Four weeks later, my Jeep arrived just like I had imagined it. I am so happy and satisfied with my purchase. I look forward to many years of driving my Jeep Wrangler. Thanks Ryan!! More

Ryan Ganser is an awesome sales person. Very fair he is very knowledgeable of products and services. I brought a 2013 Dodge Charger. He took the time out to exclusively deal with me. He does not pressure you and gives you time as a customer to make sound decisions. I must say this is my best experience with a car dealership I've had in over 10 years. Very professional demeanor and customer friendly personality is the reason why I will buy all my future cars from him as well as refer as many people as I can to him directly ! WOW! We happen to stop at South Oak just to walk around & look at jeeps. We have been on a hunt for new or trade in. A most geniune young men approched us with abundance of info. We had no intension of purchasing a car there to be honest! We strongly feel that if had not been for Ryan today we would not be driving our Jeep Compass. My husband and I have bought with Dodge before and like the product. However, this was the first dealer we have walked into that genuinely listened to everything we needed and wanted in a car....from safe the product. They did not push extras on us. Ryan got us in our brand new car with everything we wanted for exactly what we said we could afford! Jesus (and Mark)were also very attentive to our needs. When we arrived, our car was beautiful and ready to roll! There was one thing that I needed added to my car and they scheduled my service appointment around MY schedule and when I came in the service department was friendly and quick! Scott, another friendly employee, made sure if I needed a loaner I had one so I didn't have to sit around and wait. My husband is looking for a work car and Ryan has continued to service us by watching for a safe and affordable car. They have been in touch with us several times to make sure we are happy and to let us know they are looking for a work car! How many places do you know that will help you out like that?! I will definitely be buying my next car from Ryan and South Oak! If you want a no-hassle place to look or shop, this is your place! (I loved how clean the service department was and the young man that washed and waxed my car came out to greet me when he saw me in the service department!) They honestly want it to be a "family" kind of experience. Since I anticipate on having my car for a long time, it is nice to build a good relationship with the dealer.
