I drive a 2019 forerunner that I took in for a regular service at the dealership like I do every 5000 miles. It broke down within minutes of leaving the dealership, I have never had any problems with the service at the dealership like I do every 5000 miles. It broke down within minutes of leaving the dealership, I have never had any problems with the car before. After having it towed back to the dealership and inspection showed that During the routine oil change, the technician did not put the correct amount of oil back in my vehicle. The service manager lied and said that there was a safety feature on my engine that should protect it , and after taking a second ride in my car, he deemed it fine. We had a separate mechanic review the vehicle and he said that the engine needed to be replaced or that the vehicle needed to be exchanged. The dealership was unwilling to replace the engine, and they offered a laughable warranty $250 for the convenience.. This has been a nightmare. We’ve been dealing with for the last two weeks. I don’t feel safe in the car with my two small children because it does not sound the same as before their negligence. The owner of the dealership, Ryan not only couldn’t be bothered to communicate with my family, but it also wasn’t willing to make it right. There are so many other local Toyota dealership if you want your family well taken care of I would never visit this one. More
