Good morning, my name is Taneicia Lewis and my case number is #22862667. I filed a complaint against Alpha Motorsports. I am currently disabled and have a fixed income of $989 a month so I can’t afford number is #22862667. I filed a complaint against Alpha Motorsports. I am currently disabled and have a fixed income of $989 a month so I can’t afford an expensive car note and my sales manager was aware of that. On 1/11/2025 I was offered a price off $22,000 on a 2019 Toyota Avalon that was on their website. I was told in a text by Adam the sale manager that this price will be honored. I signed a digital contract and submitted it to the finance manager. The moment I got home and checked my email I noticed that the contract was incorrect and my signature was different. The contract they sent back to me was for $29,000 with a 72 month payment of 647 which added up to $46,584. I called them the next day and they refused to have me come in and go over the contract so they dismissed me by hanging up the phone in my ear. I did my own Carfax and noticed that they helped back information from me by not showing me the full CarFax. The car was in two accidents but I was only told about one where the vehicle was not damaged. I discovered that the care was in a major accident and the frame off the car was damaged (Structural damage) I found tape holding up parts of the car. I took the car to a Toyota service center and was told that the car was unsafe to drive and the repairs will be a total of $10,000. I am unable to drive the car and now I have to look for a new one. I tried to pull the original contract that was sent to me and it shows that it expired. I have no idea what to do because I can’t afford to get another car and only had the car for two weeks. I have been trying to contact the dealership since 1/12/2025 and no one will speak to me. This is upsettling because I drive my daughter in this car and it almost ran off the road and almost killed us, due to I was unable to control it. PLEASE HELP ME. More

So went to the dealership in Fredericksburg, VA test drove the car liked it asked a lot of questions about the car since its new to me they were great answering those questions. They asked if I would be Financing or paying cash. I confirmed that the car is $32,000 if I financed and if I paid cash it was $26,000 they said yes. I said I'd like to pay cash and would like to see if they could do better on that price or at least throw in a mobile charger. After going and crunching the numbers with the sales manager they came back and said the cash price was $32,000. Naturally I disagreed because the cash price on their website and from the sales person was at $26,000. Clearly this was a bait and switch tactic that cost me 3 hours of my time and a lot of frustration for me. This is crazy that they Falsely advertise to get people in the door then not honor said price. I will be reaching out to the Motor Vehicle Dealer Board over this. These car dealers cant just be playing games like this. More
