I have a 2009 Porsche 911 Model 997. 2 Targa 4S. I took it in to have the following work done: 1) Oil Change. 2) Spark Plugs. 3) Aitbag Warning Light on. 4) Passenger Side Window S 2 Targa 4S. I took it in to have the following work done: 1) Oil Change. 2) Spark Plugs. 3) Aitbag Warning Light on. 4) Passenger Side Window Switch Not Working. 5) Passenger Door Interior Light Not Working. 6) Front End Rattling Noise. 7) Rear Exhaust Vibration Noise When Deacelerating at Low Speeds. 8) Rear Wheel Bearing Noise. 9) Sliding Glass Top Not Working Properly - Stops During Travel and Makes Tons of Squeaming Noises When Moving. They kept my car for 4 months and charged me $30,000. Communication was terrible. I got the car back and there was grease and dirt all over the floor matts and carpet. The front end still rattled. The rear exhaust noise was still there. The sliding glass top didn’t work at all. The carpet was wet, and my stereo amplifier was fried from water damage. They told me I needed a ton of expensive additional work to fix the things they didn't fix, and they took no responsibility for the soaking wet carpet and dead amplifier under the passenger seat. They looked at me like I was being unreasonable when I complained about the grease and dirt all over carpet. They replaced all 4 struts and the engine mounts and the sliding glass top motors which didn’t fix the front end rattle, the exhaust vibration or the sliding glass top problem. In fact, they made the sliding glass top problem worse. Now it doesn’t work at all. They claimed they didn’t do anything that would have gotten the carpet soaked or would have killed the amplifier even though it was inder their care for several months. I had to call to get updates. Their diagnostic capabilities were terrible. Their communication was terrible. They are messy and not careful. They don't accept responsibility for damage done while under their care. This is not the experience I would expect from a Porsche dealership. I can't recommend this dealership to anyone after this experience. I will never be going back to this Porsche dealership and now I have no faith in any Porsche dealership. This is totally unacceptable and the really sad thing is they don't seem to care that I spent $30,000 and 4 months and most of the issues I brought it in for weren't fixed and now I have even more issues that they created - totally nonfunctional amplifier, totally nonfunctional sliding glass top and grease and dirt all over my carpet. The initial service and expectations were exactly as planned. When I drove my car home and checked the app later that night, it was apparent that the oil which was changed was not replaced with new oil. planned. When I drove my car home and checked the app later that night, it was apparent that the oil which was changed was not replaced with new oil. I live 92 miles away and potentially could’ve damaged my engine had I not checked. Once brought to their attention, they immediately sent somebody out to my house to add oil in. I’m sure it was an honest mistake, but something that was surprising to have happened at such a prestigious dealership. More
