CUSTOMER SERVICE EXCELLENCE I came in frustrated w car salesman from previous experiences and bad experiences last week. As soon as I spoke to Frankie and told him what I was lo I came in frustrated w car salesman from previous experiences and bad experiences last week. As soon as I spoke to Frankie and told him what I was looking for, he responded exactly the way I needed to be communicated to. Unsure of y’alls training, but I coach sales people and Frankie understands personality types and how to match his approach. He also knows how to connect quickly with the customer in an authentic way. This is a gap for most sales people because they try to connect just for the sale and don’t make people feel like they care. Frankie was responsive, had a sense of urgency, and wasted none of my time while going through his process and proper channels to give me the best price for my vehicle. I am extremely impressed with this young man and feel as though he could share best practices to other people in your organization through training, during meetings, or after action review’s with sales managers. Figure out a way to retain Frankie pay him more and keep him happy because it’s rare from my experience in car sales that you have a professional with the skills that Frankie possesses. These things might come naturally to him but the others are struggling so his unconscious competence should be replicated. Most people back then had no idea what our little fire engine red sedan was. Later I bought a GL-10 station wagon, then another one five years after that. We usually put lots of miles on a car, so having a well made and safe car like a Subaru makes sense. They are also a engineering marvel. I actually bought a used 2010 Hyundai Genesis from 5 Star Subaru ( go figure) and the whole transaction was VERY VERY pleasant. They actually seem to CARE ABOUT their customer, NOT just the sale. That's refreshing. If you are looking for a Subaru, or even a used Genesis. Be sure to visit 5 Star Subaru in Grapevine. Where else can you get a free carwash for life... serious. More
