I wish I had better things to say. Salesperson was distracted with phone calls while we were test driving and going over the vehicle. He gave me wrong information that I was extremely upset about; I c distracted with phone calls while we were test driving and going over the vehicle. He gave me wrong information that I was extremely upset about; I clearly asked if I could start the vehicle with an app and he said yes (which I confirmed with my boyfriend as he was with me). Went home and tried to register vehicle online and ended up wasting 20 minutes on the phone with Toyota customer service only for them to let me know it’s not equipped. I called him and tried to explain how upset I was that I was misinformed as that was one of the reasons I wanted to buy it. He kept interrupting me and wouldn’t let me finish anything really. Just kept telling me that no, it doesn’t have that feature and I would have to get a new key fob and get it added myself, which was not the point. He also told me it came with a second key fob which I didn’t and he would have to order so I will have to drive all the way back to get that programmed after it comes in. I feel like if he was more present with the whole deal it could’ve been a much better experience and no misinformation. I felt afterwards like he just wanted to get the deal done and not take his time with us so just said yes a lot to get his sale. He was nice, just not present. I don’t normally make a point to complain but felt I needed to point some things out. Also, on the way home I used Apple CarPlay to make a call and the other person couldn’t hear me even though I could hear them fine through the microphone in the vehicle. I tried other people too and same thing. Apparently this is a known issue and wasn’t caught with the 160 point inspection of this certified vehicle. So that’s another thing I’m gonna have to get taken care of with the Service Dept. The other people I got with her fine. More
