AND SHAK REHMAN !! Came here looking for a car in December, and put a $100 deposit down. The salesman that was assisting us was Russell Hopkins. He personally texted me two weeks later after my initial visit that my car came in and if I was still interested. I told him no, and that I would like a refund. He then told me that I would have to come in for a refund. That’s very unfortunate especially considering that I do not live near Coral Springs. But I come in again so I can get my refund. So we tell the ladies that we are here for a refund deposit, and they soon gave us off to Russell once again. This was the start of a very heated confrontation. Because this was also the start of Russell’s huge string of lies. The FIRST LIE he tells us as we walk to his desk is that he was shocked to hear that we did not get a refund, and that had I just texted him that I didn’t get one that he would’ve did it for me without having me to come in... need I remind you of what I said at the start of my review ... HE WAS THE ONE WHO TOLD US TO COME IN TO GET THE REFUND. But I came in clear minded and calm, so I went with his lie and said ok I should have texted you. He sits us down, gives some small talk. Then tells us that he cannot give the refund to us because we came on a Saturday and their accounting office is closed on weekends. Like I said, I do not live near Coral Springs. I told him that I did indeed text him for a refund and he was the one who told us to come in. He denies it with this SECOND LIE, saying he called from the company phone and there’s no way that we could’ve texted him. He also said that on his computer it clearly shows that I blocked that number (which was the company number) which meant that we did not engage in a text conversation at all. Little did he know, that I KEPT the conversation between me and him. He then goes on to say (THIRD LIE) that what he meant was that he did not text me about a refund since the last date we texted because (FOURTH LIE) I blocked him. I did not block him. And he did not mention anything about that in the beginning. He told us if we contacted him personally we would’ve gotten it. That’s it. He then goes on to say (FIFTH LIE) that the reason he didn’t give us a refund was because he thought we were already refunded. He said that the lady who assisted me along with Russell, her name is Rosa, had told Russell that she already gave us a refund. I then told him that if that was indeed true, then the person I have a problem with is Rosa and not him. And to bring me Rosa or a manager to whom I can tell this whole situation to about Rosa. He QUICKLY shot this down and tried to avert away from his Rosa excuse, leading me to believe that he was still lying and threw one of his coworkers under the bus. Even after showing Russell literal proof of our conversation and how he was the one who was the cause of all this, he never owned up about anything. Ever. Not a single thing. Lie after lie, even with proof he only told lies. Even when we were then talking to the manager called shak Rehman, he was on the side snickering. Shak tells us that he will handle it Monday morning and text me when he gives my refund. It’s almost night and he hasn’t even AT LEAST gave me a text back. Yes I texted him first and early in the morning. It’s a shame because he was calm and seemingly reasonable but clearly just a front. I was told that Coral Springs period is a TERRIBLE place to buy a car. More
