Peoria Subaru has been a disappointment. I paid cash for my 2022 Crosstrek. When I was purchasing the car I got the 80,000 mile warranty because I wanted to be protected if the car needed an I paid cash for my 2022 Crosstrek. When I was purchasing the car I got the 80,000 mile warranty because I wanted to be protected if the car needed any repairs. When I was in the finance office with Pete the finance officer, he did not offer me the tire warranty. I thought the tires were included in the 80,000 mile warranty. Had I been told that there was a tire warranty, I would have definitely gotten it. I get the air pressure checked for my tires every 30 days because they are the foundation of the car and so important. One time getting my air pressure checked at Discount Tire, Tony, one of the managers there offered me a tire warranty. I proudly said that I was covered by Peoria Subaru & didn’t need it. Bad luck, I got a screw in a tire and it was bad enough that the tire needed to be replaced. I went to Peoria Subaru to get the tire replaced and was shocked to find out it wasn’t covered under warranty. I was charged $245 for one tire!! I explained to Service that I thought the tire was covered under warranty!! I couldn’t believe it. I worked at FEDEX 15 years, I know the importance of tires on a vehicle. I went to Spencer Roe in sales and explained the situation to him. That I was not offered a tire warranty when I bought the car etc…. He shrugged and basically wouldn’t help. I wasn’t offered the tire at dealer cost to show good faith by Peoria Subaru. They didn’t do anything, nothing. This has left an extreme bitter taste in my mouth about Peoria Subaru. A “family owned” business that I was told went above & beyond expectations from other dealerships. This is not the case. They are just part of the wolf pack of dealerships. I am wondering if I should find another dealership to work with. Partly also because of the first time I took my car in for service as well as because I was not offered the tire warranty in Finance. The first service was my 6 month oil change and tire rotation. I had to go back 3 times to get the service completed. The first time for the oil change & tire rotation, the oil was overfilled by 3/4 quarts oil. When I got home & checked the oil, it was overfilled & the oil mark was way up on the oil dipstick. Then I realized the tires hadn’t been rotated either because of a scuff on the front, right rim I had caused pulling into a curb. So I went back to Peoria Subaru to let them correct the mess. Well, they changed the oil on the second visit for service but the tires still hadn’t been rotated. Ok back a 3rd time and finally the tires got rotated.This dealership has caused nothing but mistakes and has caused me a lot of personal time and money. It has left a real bitter taste in my mouth. I wonder what Subaru of America would think . I’m debating telling my story on google, yelp & Facebook. I don’t know. The Subaru Crosstrek I bought is excellent. One of the best cars I’ve owned in my 69 years. So pleased to own my first Subaru and the car fits me like glove. A truly great car with a proud owner. So what do I do Peoria Subaru? What do I do?? This is the end of the story at this point but it WILL continue when I figure out what I should do from now. More

I took my 2011 legacy in because it randomly wouldn't start and had a small leak. They fixed the leak right away. Subaru in Denver didn't tighten the oil filter. 50+ days later I got my car back and the start and had a small leak. They fixed the leak right away. Subaru in Denver didn't tighten the oil filter. 50+ days later I got my car back and they didn't fix the starting problem. 1 week later I was left stranded, so I had it towed into Peoria Subaru. They said that fixed the problem. 5 day later while leaving for work the car filled up with the smell of gas! I had it towed back in. Peoria Subaru techs didn't attach the fuel line correctly on it popped off. This is a serious problem. I could have died or killed someone if the car was warmed up and caught fire while driving. Peoria Subaru's service department fixed it but blew it off like oops! Fast forward a few week the car is back in the shop for not starting. I get a texted that the car is ready, so my wife waites 1.5 hours for a ride set by Subaru. She gets there and the service manager treats her as she is stupid and blames us for the starting problem. They said we are flooding the car while starting it. This car only has 114985 miles on it. But to Peoria Subaru it's too old. All they wanted us to do is buy a new car. Further solidifying they are incompetent and not able to fix the problem. All I wanted from them is to fix my car. Not sell me a new one. Since November 8th of 2021 till February 7 2022 , I have been without my car and they think it's no big deal. Great way to treat a customer! More

Everyone was nice but no one ever told me that under the service plan if you don't get all your oil changes done in 2 years you lose them! I paid for those oil changes should lose them because car only has service plan if you don't get all your oil changes done in 2 years you lose them! I paid for those oil changes should lose them because car only has 12k miles in 3 years! Won't shop Subaru again feel I was lied to! I paid $1000 for 2 oil changes Going back to Toyota!!!!! More

Didn't complete the job because, as I WAS TOLD AFTER I HAD PAID AND DRIVEN THE CAR BACK HOME FOR THE THIRD TIME (30 miles roundtrip, 3 times), there were alleged conditions to the car (nearly brand new Le HAD PAID AND DRIVEN THE CAR BACK HOME FOR THE THIRD TIME (30 miles roundtrip, 3 times), there were alleged conditions to the car (nearly brand new Legacy with 16,000 miles) that made it impossible to do the job correctly. I have requested a refund, and have received no reply. More
