First Car Purchase for College Student I had my first car (2005 Chrysler Sebring Convertible) for 4 years and it was beginning to act up and give me trouble. I go to school in Gainesville and drive around 140 miles to get between there and home. My parents and I thought it was time to get a car that I wasn't afraid would breakdown on the interstate. Shawna Hargett recommended the Ford Fiesta as a great first time car with affordable payments for a college student. She walked me and my dad through all of the steps and told me about the Ford college student $500 reward that I could put towards the car. I added a tire protection plan for a very reasonable price and walked out satisfied. The overall experience was great! More

She was very throrough and took a lot of time making sure I understood how everything works. She helped me set up my phone and downloaded the Ford Pass explaining how to find the information for myself. I am also confident she went the extra mile to get me the best deal available. Mike, in Finance, was also extremely helpful explaining all of the different options available in the various Maintenance Plans. He made sure I understood exactly what I was spending my money on. And then I came in the next day and all i had to do was give up my old truck and sign a few papers (you know the deal) and I drove away in a brand new car!
