Recently I purchased my 5th new car from Mungenast Honda, and the Mungenast Honda service department has maintained all, plus two Civics purchased elsewhere as pre-owned I've never been disappointed with sales or service at Mungenast Honda, in fact the entire buy & service experience is outstanding.
I work with sales representative Bob Carroll: I call Bob about a car in the Mungenast inventory, Bob has the vehicle out front when I arrive for a test drive and a price proposal ready when I return; one or two iterations on options and price and the deal is done and I'm on the road in about 2-hours elapsed time. Outstanding.
My experience with the service department is the same, and the family members drive their Hondas about 200,000-miles, wrecks notwithstanding, so I work with Honda Service on regular intervals. Excellent Cars!
"Amazing customer service"
I was traveling thru St. Louis from Texas to Ohio on 8/13 and made an unscheduled stop at the dealership due to an oil leak. I can’t say enough good things about my experience. The service advisor (Steve Tiepelman) was great. With all of the technicians busy he personally took my car in to take a look. Long story short, they replace a damaged oil filter (damaged by dealership in Texas during oil change previous week), filled up the oil and even power washed the underside of the car. Steve explained what the issue was and even bagged the filter for me to take back home to show the service manager at the dealership that did the prior work. I was in and out of the dealership in less than one hour and was surprised when Steve told me there would be no charge. Thanks for the outstanding service!!!
"The BEST dealer, salesperson and financing experience!"
I have purchased and financed over a dozen cars in my lifetime. But, the three car purchases I have made with Candace Chelist and St. Louis Honda - have always been the best. I'll never search or purchase another vehicle from any other dealer or salesperson.
Candace is always patient with my very particular wants/needs in a car I purchase, she listens and manages to go beyond my expectations - every time. She never tries to "sell" me - in fact, I never feel "sold" (a terrible feeling as a customer in car-buying). Candace is a consultant and always finds me a solution to the car I need/want. I highly recommend Candace to anyone hesitant in purchasing a new or used car, or to anyone who hates the car-buying search/process. She will go above and beyond your expectations every time - and you will feel great after the sale.
Kudos also to Brandon Cozzens, who made the financing experience quick, easy, painless and gave me the rate I could find, and kudos to Steve in Service who has the best customer service skills of any Service Dept I have ever used. Great experience!

I had originally gone to "shophonda.com" to configure a C-RV with select add-ons. I received an immediate response from Jane Gassner with a quote. After which I dealt with Joe Basler through emails then met with him to sign the purchase agreement. Joe was professional and very personable. No pressure to keep "adding on" as my previous Pontiac dealings were years ago. Email communications were promptly answered. It was a pleasure to work with Dave Gierse in the finance department. Again, no pressure or hard sell. The finance for my Pontiac years ago was simply, "Here, sign this. This is what we get. Here are the keys." Stephen Tiepelman in the service department was cordial and polite. Overall, everyone at this dealership was a pleasure to deal with. I think I made a great choice with this vehicle and this dealership and I highly recommend them to my friends. In fact, my father who is due for a new vehicle, came with me to pick up the C-RV and was impressed how HE was treated just waiting for me to finish with Dave in finance. I'm sticking with Honda and this dealership.
