Well worth the drive from Belleville, IL. The entire experience was very pleasant. From the telephone call I made to express my interest in a car on the web site to the initial in-person greeting to th experience was very pleasant. From the telephone call I made to express my interest in a car on the web site to the initial in-person greeting to the test drive, trusting us and not insisting on accompanying us, to the paperwork process to the drive away in our new vehicle, the ELCO team was unsurpassed in my opinion. In fact, since purchasing a 2011 CTS4 from ELCO with Jim McCormick and Sveta Gwin's assistance I have talked with friends/neighbors, comparing my wife and and my experience with ELCO to previous experiences with the local Cadillac dealership. Many people seemed to already know or suspect what we just learned: The service department at J. S. Cadillac is top notch but don't buy a vehicle from them, go across the river to ELCO. Okay, fine, now I know. From now on ELCO is the answer for our new and preowned Cadillac needs/wants. P.S. Please forward this testimony to J. S. Cadillac. dealing with Chris and Sveta was a great experience we will definitely buy from ELCO again. We loved not be hassled and the fact that we were able to test drive multiple vehicles until we found the truck will definitely buy from ELCO again. Chris was great to deal with, the auto I found on the internet was not there anymore. Chris did a great job and got the auto back to the lot for me and kept me updated as I was making a 3 hour drive to t internet was not there anymore. Did all he could do to make a good deal for me. 2 hours after getting there the test drive, trade and all paper work was done and I was on my way back home. Everyone was very knowledgeable in their specific area and they work together as a team. Mike and Cort in sales know the Malibu and point out features as you explain what your needs are, they are patient and they work together as a team. Mike and Cort in sales know the Malibu and point out features as you explain what your needs are, they are patient , they wait for you to finish they actually listen, and are low pressure. Sveta in finance knows what she is doing she is very knowledgeable and polite. For me the finance piece is the worst she made it smooth as silk. Tom in the service department also listened to my concerns and followed up the techs to ensure the mud flap was replaced on the left rear, then he went a little further and had the techs check both left and right quarter panels ensuring they were nice and tight. Service after the sale is really where customer loyalty is developed and Tom Kahl did a good job. Yeah sure everybody wants to sell you a car but this team helped me buy one. More

We have purchased several cars from Elco, and Cort Howard has always treated us exceptionally well. Seeing him when we come in makes us feel at home and makes us more comfortable than walking in not knowing has always treated us exceptionally well. Sveta has helped us with the financing on all the cars we have purchased at Elco. Like Cort, she always recognizes us and treats us like friends. Sveta makes us comfortable and quickly completes our paperwork exactly as it should be. This was our first experience with Jim Russo but we will gladly work with him again. He was friendly, knowledgable and thorough. Everyone at Elco is always professional, including the body shop, parts and service departments. Elco is the friendliest most efficient car dealership we have ever dealt with. We feel almost like family whenever we go in. More

Very good dealer experience! Which was very nice since I had a very bad experience at Royal Gate dodge in the past! Their price on my 2011 Silverado was amazing which is why I traveled 48 miles to deal wit had a very bad experience at Royal Gate dodge in the past! Their price on my 2011 Silverado was amazing which is why I traveled 48 miles to deal with them. Kyle was very personable and great to work with. We haggled a little on the price and payments, but one thing that impressed me was their professionalism thru it all. I've dealt with others in the past who were quite rude. We were so impressed with the no-haggle pricing and with Joe's personality that even after we compared prices with another dealer in the area, we came back to make our purchase with Joe. Since the vehicle we were interested in had a sunroof (which I was totally uninterested in), Joe and the sales manager offered a selling price that was reduced by the cost of the sunroof.
