Good Service, Even Better Execution I knew what I wanted and I had called many dealerships in both CT and NY. Prestige was the only dealership that was able to fully understand what I wa I knew what I wanted and I had called many dealerships in both CT and NY. Prestige was the only dealership that was able to fully understand what I was asking for and produce that vehicle over the phone. Many dealerships had responded with "Well, we cant discuss or figure that out over the phone. How about you come in and we see what we can do." Prestige on the other hand, in particular my sales Rep. Taft Bell, was able to take my information, identify my needs, find a matching vehicle, AND MOST IMPORTANTLY come to a negotiated agreement on both my trade-in value and new vehicle price. ALL by phone and E-mail. Just 4 days later, I walked into Prestige WV for the first time. I met my sales Rep. Taft Bell, and sales manager James Beban for the first time. They each helped to seamlessly facilitate both my trade-in and purchase of a new vehicle just as we had agreed upon previously. Exceeding expectations over at Prestige VW. Ask for Taft Bell at Prestige VW! It took me a while to decide on a car, and Taft was amazing through the whole process. His main concern was that I would be happy with my new car. Bait and switch I am a single mom of 3 young kids and I needed a bigger new car and to trade in my old one. After agreeing on price and A quoted APR of 2% I showed up I am a single mom of 3 young kids and I needed a bigger new car and to trade in my old one. After agreeing on price and A quoted APR of 2% I showed up with my trade in only to learn that the APR I was quoted didn’t apply to the car I was buying. (And a whole bunch of contradictory double talk.) I then said “thanks but no thanks” that the deal was off. They said that I had to proceed b/c they had already cancelled the registration on my trade in and couldn’t get it reinstated on a Friday at 4:30. I said that I felt like I had a gun to my head, Luke said “no you don’t.” So I again said, “the deal is off and I would like to leave with my car”. Then Luke again said I couldn’t and admitted that I basically did have a gun to my head. I’ve heard about shady car salesmen but that hadn’t been my experience. I then was basically forced into signing the paperwork as my hungry 3 year old started climbing the walls. It was such a horrible experience. I’m guessing there are better dealers in the area. Stay away from this one! (And I wasn’t even going to mention the comment Charles made about “making sure my husband saw the car before I made any decisions.”) The only bright spot was Taft who was very helpful getting all my stuff out of my car. More
