Magic happened at Tasca. I needed a car and I wanted a pre-owned BMW wagon. These are not easy to find. While looking for a good one with low mileage, Tasca jumped out at me I needed a car and I wanted a pre-owned BMW wagon. These are not easy to find. While looking for a good one with low mileage, Tasca jumped out at me. They had this sweet, red, 2015 BMW wagon with under 15,000 miles with some factory warranty still on it. I called your sales department and spoke to Tayla Folco. She found out the car was available and I told her I wanted to test drive the next day. She put me in touch with Michael Huling who said he'd be happy to show me the car. Michael had pulled the car right up in front and I saw it as soon as I entered the parking lot. The car was in great condition and was fun to drive. Michael who is an easy going and helpful person, hooked me up with your bright finance person, Dave. He was knowledgeable about all the different options for financing and extended warranty and explained everything carefully. Once I made the decision that this was the car I wanted, your team jumped through hoops to get me in this car. I called Monday morning and said I wanted to pick up the car that day. Dave and Michael were the right team and did everything from giving me all the information I needed to helping me with registration and insurance. Michael presented the car to me and it was shiny and beautiful. Michael also took a good deal of time explaining the operation of the car and told me I could call with any questions I might have in the future.. By 3:00 PM that day, I was driving my dream car off of your lot in Cranston to my home in Jamestown. It was a pleasurable drive, the car is great and I would send anyone to Tasca to talk to the three people (and more) who made all of this possible. Thanks a lot. Anne Pecora More

After viewing some potential Ford Fusion candidates, I scheduled a test-drive of two of them with Todd Amaral. He was more than willing to get me into the cars for the test drives, and I settled on one of them for the purchase. It was nice not to deal with any surprises, issues, nor disrespect, unlike my negative experience with another large dealership in RI. When one of their sales-staff made a comment to me that "his watch is worth more than the used car I'm considering", I left him with a few very choice words, and his used car inventory, to bake in the hot August sun. I would recommend any of my family & friends to visit the Tasca Automotive Group based on the high standards and professionalism exhibited by Tayla Folco (Internet Sales), Todd Amaral (Sales), and finally Ron Traver (Finance), who happens to have a great sense of humor IMHO. Buying a car is only one part of the equation; the folks running in the background complete rest of the solution, and are the basis of the "team". More

Tasca’s Mazda dealership was head and shoulders above their competitors’. I first had the pleasure of speaking at length with Sales’ head, Bernie Spann. At that point bad experiences elsewhere had blunted my zeal for Mazdas. Yet I soon realized things were different here. Initially, Bernie struck me as cordial, thorough, honest, succinct, and a great listener. Once he’d referred me to Don Mailloux, one of his senior sales staff, my impressions were confirmed by Bernie’s notes on my previous call. He’d literally caught every salient detail. What I found still more astonishing was Don’s manner: he, too, was a total pro blessed with quite a brain. As if these two weren’t remarkable enough, the whole place was top-notch. They’re just an exemplary group, period. I’m thinking back to my original query, after I’d scoped out their inventory online. What were the prospects of finding me a red, manual 2018 Mazda3 Grand Touring hatchback? The gal who answered had connected me with Internet Sales, and later I called them back with other questions. Next came Bernie; then my first advisor in Finance, and then Don. When I opted to go see Don, the first face I met was that of New England’s most-personable greeter, followed by a pair of attentive receptionists. My subsequent progress with Don led to other calls, to my Finance consultant and another in his department. In each case their polite, candid efficiency sped my progress. Ultimately, as promised, Tasca did meet the lowest price quoted elsewhere. Without hesitation, Don ran me a comprehensive spreadsheet. Wow. It was the farthest-possible cry from the ambiguities so rife at other dealerships. (Elsewhere, as I persisted in asking one sales manager how where he was getting his numbers, he actually said, “You’re making this much harder than it has to be,” which I took as present-day code for, “Don’t worry your pretty little head about that.”) In short, Tasca made my choice an easy one. Indeed, when it came time to sign everything, Carl Tasca himself stopped by. (His father had done business with mine years ago. Carl chose to say hello, then spent awhile discussing life in a family business. Later, too, he twice made a point of ensuring I’d “be satisfied,” — as his dad used to say.) And nothing’s changed since I made my decision. I had questions about the gear ratios: Don reached out to the head of Service, then shared his finding. (Namely, that my gas-scrimper gear box bears little resemblance to my old Rx-7’s.) So what’s the upshot of my having researched, price-shopped, repeatedly test-driven, accepted, taken home and then upgraded one element (which shipped in later)? I wish I’d gone to Tasca Mazda on Day One. Truly, they’re a class act. Warmest thanks to everyone there, Tasca! More

I don't enjoy the car buying experience, so I want to make it short and simple. I came to Tasca with the intent of financing an older used small cargo van for personal use and trading in my low mileage, well cared for Hyundai. I began working with Shawn Haggarty on my first visit; I was blunt about what I wanted, and he was polite and direct right along about the vehicle. It wasn't yet serviced so he made calls and got me a schedule. We kept in touch until it was ready; Shawn never pressed me or harassed about timing, just kept me in the loop. Once ready I took a day off to finish things up. We worked with Phil Hadfield on my trade-in; he was also very polite and direct about my trade, and I feel I got very good value for it. Here's where things deviate from the usual. Financing a vehicle with the age and mileage I wanted wasn't really an option for most banks, and not within the time and budget I allocated. This is the one thing I hadn't really researched. Ryan Haxton from finance didn't just throw numbers at me; he explained what the issues were and presented options. As soon as I understood the factors that were effecting my financing, I asked about newer models on the lot that would be easier to pay for and stay within budget. Shawn had me in front of a much newer, cleaner, and lower mileage vehicle and I was financed and in it the next day. At no point did I feel misdirected, bait-and-switched, or overwhelmed. Everyone involved was polite, professional, and put my needs first. For the first time, even with the issues we ran into, I felt like buying a vehicle can be a rewarding experience rather than a chore. More
