Who knew that was possible when buying a car? lol Our salesman Tim Notarianni was a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. I can't say enough good things about him (and the dealership in general), but I'll start with he was friendly, personable and honest. Even after the car was purchased and we had to go back to have an accessory put on it, he still was as helpful and attentive to our needs, even coming in before his shift to make sure he was available in case we had an questions or concerns. We had a 2 hour drive to and fro to the dealership, and the enjoyable experience we had with Tim and the rest of North Penn staff made it worth the trip. So just like their motto says.....it was "The Right Experience and The Right Choice"! Thank you Tim!....and see you again when we are ready to purchase a convertible! :) More

We had friends that recommended North Penn if we ever decided to go VW. We had researched and narrowed it down to Passat SE plus Tech vs one other car. I cautiously approached with the expectation of a usual car buying experience (high pressure, need your license, need your credit card, salesman-manager dance, etc.). My wife and son had visited on Tues for view and test drive and then I went on Saturday with them. Tim Notarianni greeted us and kindly explained the car, offered a test drive for me and pre-drive explained the safety features (which we were highly interested in) and the amazing infotainment system in the car. The car drive and design was great but I have been known to be 'unsold' by overly aggressive sale tactics. I can honestly say from the moment we entered Tim's office after the drive, he was honest, no-pressure, friendly, listening to each question (more rare than you might think these days) we had and answering, comparing the different options for us for purchasing (cash, finance with VW, finance 3rd party). He located the Passat in color and options that we wanted locally. One quick trip to his manager to check the very good price he offered us and held to it. We explained that we needed to look at one more car and again no pressure (this is typically a point where an aggressive sales person will try to drop the price or entice you to stay at their dealership; but not Tim N. He said he understood and gave us his email and cell as we expected to decide in the next 1-2 days. We visited other maker dealer and test drove and then decided we were going with Tim and Passat. Contacted him via email on Monday (his day off but he still got back to us), Tuesday stopped in and signed the paperwork, Wednesday he called to tell us it was in, Thursday went for payment and final paperwork. Introduced to Jason Hartman (business manager) who offered us the warranty extension, and tire warranty (and when we explained that we were not interested, he made sure we understood the offer but after again declining, he did not overly persist in trying to convince us...again this is unusual for a dealership and enhanced the buying experience at North Penn VW). The deal for free service for 1st 3 years he offered was too good not to take, so we did snatch that up. After that we signed the last paper and the car was ours, Tim introduced us to the service dept member and the service hours and process. Tim then spent a lot of his time explaining all the features of this great car and making sure everything was as expected. He offered us to call him anytime if we had any questions on any function or needed any help of any kind saying 'don't look in the owner's book'. just call me; and he sincerely meant it. Much appreciated Tim. I can highly recommend Tim Notarianni and Jason Hartman and North Penn VW. Even if you are not thinking of buying a VW, you should go meet Tim, he is a very good person. They may want to create a '6-star' rating choice for Tim; because he is above a 5. More
