I would not recommend buying a vehicle from Fred Anderson Toyota if you expect reliable service after the sale. The sales experience may be fine, but the service department has completely ruined the owner Toyota if you expect reliable service after the sale. I have now wasted two separate mornings trying to get them to complete a Toyota TSB repair for squeaky brakes on my new $70k 4Runner. Before both appointments, I specifically called and confirmed that they had the parts needed to complete the repair. Both times, I was told yes. At the first appointment, they took the brakes apart and then realized they only had 3 of the 4 replacement parts needed. I was told they would call me when the remaining part came in. Months went by and I never received a call. Trying to get through by phone was also a mess, because the phone system seems designed mainly to schedule appointments, not resolve existing service issues. After I opened a brand engagement case with Toyota, I promptly received a call from Aurora. To her credit, she dug into the issue, identified the problem, confirmed a new appointment, and told me the parts were in stock and committed to my vehicle. I showed up for the second appointment today and again asked the service advisor to confirm that they had the parts. At first, he said they did not. After more digging, they “found” them. Then, after I had already waited about 90 minutes, Kevin came to the waiting room and told me they did not actually have the correct parts. At that point, I spoke with the service manager. The offered solution was to top off my gas tank. That does not come close to making up for two wasted mornings, taking time off work, arranging my schedule around these appointments, and still not having the issue fixed. This has been an extremely frustrating experience. I bought a very expensive new vehicle and have had to chase the dealership for months just to get a known Toyota service issue addressed. Based on my experience, I would not trust Fred Anderson Toyota’s service department. More

Service person always right there to ascertain what needs to be done, and informing me of options. Nice personality.
