Several months ago I started looking for a new Subaru and stopped when the dealership was aggressive and calling me constantly. This week I tried again, contacting dealerships through the online “Build You Car” program and in the end I dealt with Surprise Subaru because they had the best Yelp rating and Alex Milkman insured me he could make the best deal. I made an appointment with him and when I arrived in 105 degree heat he had two Foresters under cover at the front door for us to choose between two colors. Then when I got a great price for my old car we did a trade in, something I never do as we sell them ourselves, and he pulled it up front to take our picture with both cars. It still took 3 hours at the dealership even thought I had already gotten pricing through our texts. I wish the process was quicker. Alex told us about the Subaru Moo Moo Cow and I just ordered some online from Amazon. I hope to have some fun spreading the joy of cute little cows to other Subaru owners. This is our second Subaru and probably our last car as we are seniors and as I posted our picture on Facebook I found lots of happy Subaru owners, including my brother in Wisconsin who also just bought one to match my other Wisconsin sister. More

I wouldn't even call him a salesperson because he was no Garrett, our salesperson was exceptionally knowledgeable, professional, and low/no pressure. I wouldn't even call him a salesperson because he was not trying to sell us anything, he was just helping us understand the vehicle's features and benefits. The whole experience of buying our new Forester was like family event, where everyone wanted us to feel comfortable with the purchase and take care of us after the sale, they even have a monthly dinner for new owners, and schedule a visit to refresh our knowledge of all the car's bells and whistles. I believe we got a fair price, based on the research I did beforehand, and we weren't pressured into buying extra's at the end. At most car dealers, the pressure really starts when they take you into the finance office after you've decided to buy. Not here. I wish all dealers were like this. Oh yea, the 2025 model Forester is a vast improvement over the previous model years, especially the infotainment console. All in all, we're very happy. More
