Went above and beyond to help us replace our vehicle We purchased a new Mazda CX-9 in June of 2016. We started experiencing issues with the entertainment system almost immediately, with troubles connect We purchased a new Mazda CX-9 in June of 2016. We started experiencing issues with the entertainment system almost immediately, with troubles connecting our phones via bluetooth, issues with the Pandora app not working, and issues with the display itself either rebooting in the middle of driving or just not coming on at all. O'Daniel's service department tried their best to fix these issues, and we even spoke with a Mazda tech support line, but nothing seemed to fix the issues. Then, after just over a year and with 20,000 miles on our CX-9, we started having engine issues. After driving the vehicle for an hour or more, the engine seemed to lose almost all power. Accelerating at an intersection with the gas pedal all the way to the floor would result in only 20 mph tops. After a few minutes the engine seemed to recover, but this happened repeatedly. O'Daniels service department worked with Mazda engineers to troubleshoot and attempt to diagnose the issue, but after over a month they could not figure out the cause. We were given a loaner vehicle to drive during this time, which was great, but we couldn't drive ours because of safety concerns. We weren't sure what was going to happen, and we didn't press the dealer because we knew this was a difficult issue. Then, to our amazement, Mazda offered to buy back our vehicle and replace it with a brand new 2017 with incentives that brought the difference to only about $2600. Within days of informing us of this offer, we drove home with a vehicle nearly identical to our previous one, but a model year newer and with no miles on it. We couldn't be happier! Congratulations to Mazda and to O'Daniels for going above and beyond to resolve this difficult situation in a way that has left us completely satisfied! More

My co-worker recently leased a Mazda CX-5 and was very happy with the vehicle (Mazda CX-5) and service he received from Matt Tillapaugh. By reference, I requested to work with Matt even though he was not available when I went to look at the Mazda CX-5 and CX-9. Junior, Matt's co-worker assisted me in his behalf and gave me direction, answers to my questions as well as assisted with a test drive. Todd, Matt's sales manager was also very helpful with appraising our Toyota Tacoma as I test drove the Mazda CX-5 which I loved. :) The following day when Matt returned he followed up with me and helped finalize my thoughts and numbers with the Mazda CX-5 keeping the process moving in a timely manner for me. Dan was the finance director who accommodated us with expertise and humor even though he had several other customers waiting to get financed. Overall, Matt, Dan and Todd worked together to make sure my vehicle was completed with a pure seal interior and exterior protection so that I wouldn't have to make a special trip back to the dealership to have this completed. Awesome!! I truly believe that everyone was very knowledgeable, professional, and very pleasant to work with. I never felt that we were oversold nor under delivered. My car was older and the transmission would have cost more to replace than my car was worth so I had to buy a new car. Heinrich Higler is the gentlemen that helped me find my dream car. He asked me what was most important about the car I was looking for and I said reliable and safe (especially with children in the car). He guided me to a CX-5 Mazda. He educated me on all the features and I never felt like he was pushy. Car salesmen really have the image of pushy and out for the sale but I honestly felt like Heinrich was sincere and genuine with his responses to me. I am in a customer service role myself so when I take my potential business somewhere, if I don't receive the service I myself give, I will not do business with that company. Buying a car is stressful alone but when you have a salesman that is working to help you and not just his sales goals, it makes doing business and buying a car a lot easier. I worked with Heinrich and his Manager Todd Jacquay with working out a deal since I had a car to trade in. I also took my car to my mechanic before purchasing the car and he found minor things which were all taken care of part of the deal with my car purchase. Mazda's customer service was wonderful and if you are on the fence about where to buy your car because there are SO MANY dealerships in Fort Wayne, I would highly recommend you check them out and ask for Heinrich!! More
