Keeping customer in loop I have a 2012 Genesis, and while a Canadian with a Canadian car, all of my service visits have been to Crown. All my experiences have been excellent I have a 2012 Genesis, and while a Canadian with a Canadian car, all of my service visits have been to Crown. All my experiences have been excellent and Tomm Burkart has been there every time smoothing things out and making the visit easy. This visit was scheduled to be a normal checkup before leaving to Canada and that went well, save after leaving the dealership a number of sudden allerts on my dash...some orange, some red, and pointing to braking issues. Called Tomm and he suggested I return the next morning, which I did. The codes popping up were not only new to me but challenging to Crown service personnel. Finally 5 hours later the problem was found, a part found in Georgia and shipping arranged. During this period Tomm went above and beyond, getting the technician to lay out his problem and the progress until the issue isolated. Keeping me in the loop of what was going on was terrific. I do not have the name of the technician, but he should be singled out as going above and beyond. Picked up the car the next day, and even had the Service Manager, Chris Sanborn as the final closer and master of all of the paperwork surrounding warranty work on a Canadian car. Bravo to all. I can now drive back to Canada wiithout worry. Bob More

Maintenance Visit Brought my Sonata in for an oil change and to upgrade sofrware on the vehicle. My service representative was Tomm Burhart. 15,000 mile service I've been dealing with Crown Hyundai for about 5 years. First I leased a 2013 Sonata then purchased an upgraded 2015 Sonata. The customer service at I've been dealing with Crown Hyundai for about 5 years. First I leased a 2013 Sonata then purchased an upgraded 2015 Sonata. The customer service at this dealership is excellent recently went for my 15,000 mile check up and Ryan looked up my record and saw that I had two recalls I had missed. They took care of them that very day, oil change, wheel alignment and whatever else I needed to make my car comfortable and safe, and a car wash to boot!. I moved from St. Petersburg to Countryside area, very close to another Hyundai dealership, but I still choose to drive down to Crown. Also, when I purchased my 2015 Sonata, I told Damian exactly what I wanted and he searched several dealerships and ended up finding mine in Lakeland. I couldn't be happier with my Sonata and Crown!! More

My car was making a really weird noise - carburetor problem! My car was making a very strange noise from under the hood. Took it to the service department and dealt with Tomm Burkart. Tom was great - he had the mechanics check the car, and it turned out the snorkel had split (this is a tube that goes into the carburetor) and had to be replaced. The car is still under warranty, but they had to order the part. I came back 2 days later, and everything was done (including washing the car) in about 30 - 40 minutes. Tomm is very knowledgeable and very easy to work with. I have dealt with Tomm before and am always very pleased. This is a great dealership, and the reason why is great service personnel like Tomm!! More

You may have experienced the same and wondered, “Is my car permanently ruined?” Unfortunately, there was damage, however, Tomm Burkhart, my trusted Service Advisor at Crown Hyundai, responded immediately to my request for service. The fabulous technicians at Crown Hyundai made the necessary repairs to my Hyundai Sonata Hybrid and Tomm assured me that my car was properly fixed and safe to drive, again. What a relief!!! Thank you Tomm and the Crown Team for excellent customer service! More

Service At Crown Hyundai in St Petersburg, Florida We dropped our Elantra around 10:00am in March 2017 to have an oil change/filter, rotating tires, and air conditioning filter done. At 1:00pm I contacted Crown Hyundai to speak to Tom & ask about the car. Tom went to lunch & never bothered to give us a call back until after 2:00pm. really>?? we ask to be picked up by the Shuttle...Ryan Murphy informed us that we will be on the list! I asked how long..."not sure" said Ryan, "there are other people on the list". He never asked if he could help in any way or try to find out if my car was ready. Your service Dept stinks. It never used to be like that...what happened? They should not overbook their appointments. It makes customers go elsewhere where service is faster. More
