My first new car! I went to Scott Clark Toyota in Matthews not really sure what to expect because I have never bought a new car. We always get our cars from family friends/mechanics. I was a little skeptical, but honestly the whole experience went above and beyond my expectations. I visited another dealership nearby & Scott Clark Toyota blew them out of the water in all areas. First of all the site was awesome. Very clean, shiny, accommodating, open & comfortable. Every person I came in contact with was friendly and willing to help. James Rucker was the first person we really sat down & talked with. He was very easy to talk to, approachable, helpful & knowledgeable. The next time we came back, Travis Wilson & Jason Liles were available to meet with us and they walked alongside of us throughout the rest of our process. They both were super friendly & I genuinely liked both of them. They weren't pushy at all & were really understanding of what we were looking for and how much we could spend. I really appreciated that. They made this so easy for me, someone who had never really experienced shopping for a new car. I feel confident about my decision to buy from this dealership and already have recommended them to friends who are looking. I can't say enough good things about Jason & Travis. I have especially been really impressed with how Jason has continued to follow up with me and make sure everything is going good with my car & to ask if I needed anything. Overall, I would recommend these two to anyone and this dealership. Thank you so much for everything! More

Travis and Jason were not only a huge help, but they were able to work with So, I recently purchased a Scion FRS from the guys at Scott Clark Toyota. Travis and Jason were not only a huge help, but they were able to work with me and offer an exceptional experience. The part that I probably enjoyed the most is that they didn't "push" me into buying the car. They realised that all they had to do was guide me to the right choice. If you're in the market for a new car, all you have to do is go see these two gentlemen and they'll make it happen! The location is wonderful, being right off of 485 makes it very convenient. The only regret that I have is that I can't give them more than five stars! Go to Scott Clark Toyota!! On a side note, Travis, Jason, and Mallory were the only ones that provided excellent service. Unfortunately, when I came back to speak to Mallory one evening about my purchase, I feel that there was a very rude comment made by one of the other salesmen. I'm still going to give the dealership as a whole 5 stars because they deserve it! I just hope that a few bad apples don't ruin the bunch. More

I would like to share our experience with Scott Clarks Toyota which is a lesson in transforming an extremely negative customer interaction into an opportunity to achieve customer loyalty. Jim Cline and T Toyota which is a lesson in transforming an extremely negative customer interaction into an opportunity to achieve customer loyalty. Jim Cline and Travis Wilson executed on that task! We came into the dealership Sat, 7/13 to purchase a pre-owned vehicle for our daughter who had just been in a total loss accident. We were expecting the top notch experience we always hear advertised and what we found had been just the opposite and extremely offensive due to our dealings with a particular salesman. Our experience with James Rucker left us feeling victimized by unethical sales tactics and inappropriate behavior, the details of which I choose not to elaborate on in favor of talking instead about how Jim Cline and Travis Wilson transformed that experience. I notified Chris Cady (managing partner) and Toyota of our experience with no expectation that they would do anything about it or even respond. Take note that this was the moment of differentiation that set Scott Clarks Toyota apart from most other dealerships. Not only did Chris Cady respond immediately with a commitment to look into the matter, but he put the matter into the hands of General Manager Jim Cline. Jim contacted me the very next morning, listened to the details of our experience and assured me he would address the situation with urgency. At that point, I truly believe he wanted to ‘right’ the situation without fully realizing he was putting into motion an experience for our family that would ensure future business with Scott Clarks. Still with reservations about purchasing a car from Scott Clarks after our initial experience, we agreed to go in and talk about the car we were interested in. Jim greeted us immediately. He apologized for our prior experience and, with great professionalism, addressed our concerns and talked with us about the deal for the car we were interested in. It was clear Jim had addressed the negative experience we’d had with any relevant individuals. Jim then handed us off to Travis Wilson to complete the details of our purchase if we still wished to proceed. We found Travis so sincere, spot on and direct in his approach, that we felt confident enough to move forward with purchasing a car for our daughter. To transform an experience like ours was no easy task and to say Jim Cline and Travis Wilson went the extra mile to ‘right’ the situation is an understatement. Wrapping up our final customer service experience was Cameron Townsend (finance) who very ably walked us through our financing documents in a personable and knowledgeable way. Quite honestly, we are surprised ourselves at how what started out as a bad experience turned out to be an experience in which we would recommend anyone buying a car from JIM CLINE and/or TRAVIS WILSON. Jim and Travis truly understand and embrace the customer service experience and I feel confident we will find our decision to move forward with the purchase validated in the coming years as we have our daughter's vehicle serviced and perhaps, even purchase more cars. More

I went for service and landed up with both service being done PLUS buying a used car, too!:-) Pros....... Finally, my service people were honest about what needed to be done ad what didn't need to be done. Cons.....sales dept. I went in at 3PM, yet I didn't get out until after 9 PM. Why? Because once they found out I liked the car and then wanted to buy it, they basically insisted I stay until the deal was done, and I had taken the car home, all in the same day! I was exhausted!!! I loved the service I received soo much from Travis Wilson I came back again. I bought a used 2004 Honda Mini Van from Travis Wilson at Scott Clark Toyota about two years ago. My lease was up on my wif Wilson I came back again. I bought a used 2004 Honda Mini Van from Travis Wilson at Scott Clark Toyota about two years ago. My lease was up on my wife's vehicle and I was dreading having to go car shopping until I remembered how easy and experience I had with Travis Wilson before. I called him, he had a car that fit what I was looking for (2011 used Hyundai Sonata), I gave Travis Wilson my credit information and drove up two days later to pick up my car. Travis Wilson had me spend only about a half hour at the dealership and I was on my way back to Jacksonville. I can't imagine buying my cars any other way again. Travis was a great sales person. He was not pushy and worked hard to put a fair deal together. The best part was, he is FAST. He Listened to what we needed and worked a deal to fit that, other dealerships seemed to ignore what I wanted to accomplish on the car. Michelle is in F&I and the most honest and straight forward person I have ever met in the car business. Trust her when she gives you advice! Plus she was fun and enjoyable to work with. This is absolutely the best car buying experience I've ever had. The dealership was state of the art and has amenities(hot dog stand, deli, nail salon) not typically found at a dealership. It's apparent this dealership cares about its customers. Our salesperson was top notch. He attended to all of our needs and took the time to ensure our car buying experience was the best. The major item of note is Travis worked to build a trusting relationship and not just a sale. He worked to understand our needs and tailored his sales approach to ensure he met our needs.If you desire a first class car buying experience, I would highly recommend Scott Clark Toyota (and our salesperson Travis Wilson). Quite an impressive organization, with capabilities beyond our imagination. From the moment we walked in until the time we drove away in our new vehicle, there was never any doubt that we were number one in the dealership's mind.
