Our car salesman, Triell (aka "Tree"), was great. He was patient with our many questions (and multiple test drives). I'm not sure if he even got to have lunch that day! The staff in general were very polite and helpful. Our only issue was that we wanted to pay cash for the car, but we were from out of state so we couldn't write a personal check. Dan (floor manager) let us know that our bank had a branch in Lexington where we could get a cashier's check, but it would take 20 minutes to get there and 20 minutes back. He implied that it would only cost us around $20 if we went through the formal process of financing the car, and then we could pay off the full loan in the first month. So, we chose to finance the car. Turns out there is a $175 charge to finance the car (even if we paid it off immediately). We signed MANY documents with Dave (finance manager), but we don't remember the $175 charge ever being pointed out to us. We saw this after bringing the car home. Obviously, if we knew there was going to be a $175 charge to finance the car, we would have taken the time to get a cashier's check from our bank. We felt duped. Just leaves a bad taste in the mouth where the rest of the buying experience was overall positive. More
