Joe has skills! The sales manager Joe was determined to restablish a relationship with me on behalf of Bettenhausen dealership. I made a previous (lease) purchase in 2025 and had some serious bumps with my vehicle and the dealership, then returned in 2017 to review new leasing options - only to receive higher leasing options. Joe intentionally but respectfully kept in contact with me until I was ready to give this dealership one last try. He gave me his personal mobile number and came in on his off day to meet with me. We were able to find a new affordable leasing option and so far, I am very happy with my putchase. The purchase process was a little long (about 6.5 hours) and taxing. But, Joe gained my trust, and even gave me a chocolate bar for dinner! (Is there someway to make the car purchase process more “spa like”? ..laughing) Joe covered A-Z details on the vehicle and I am thankful! Here’s to new (good) beginnings with Bettenhausen! (Fingers crossed for this new 3 year lease) More

I have contacted the Attorney General in Illinois to notify them and get a complaint on record. If this happened to me I’m sure it has happened to other people as well. There is no way Bettenhausen can spin it, so they have to eat it and acknowledge they attempted to steal my money. Ask them about it. If you intend to do business with these people, print a copy of this and Ask Krystal or Joe Prno the Service Manager. In a nutshell I brought my 2017 Jeep Wrangler in for a very MINOR issue. The light inside the cupholder stopped working. After diagnosis I was told the issue wasn’t covered under warranty - only about $20 parts and labor to fix. They claim the “bulb” was burned out. I agreed and was relieved it wasn’t going to be a drawn out process. When I picked up the Jeep I noticed the issue wasn’t fixed, so I inquired with Krystal (Service Advisor) .. she promptly called up a mechanic to take a look. In my presence the mechanic opened/disassembled the center console and pulled out the cupholder, which has the light assembly attached to it. It wasn’t connected to anything and the mechanic said “oh he just didn’t plug it back in”. While he looked for the other end of the wire harness, I asked to inspect it and realized it was a LED assembly and not just a bulb. I asked what part they replaced and they had no explanation... because the “bulb” they claim to have replaced doesn’t even exist on the vehicle. So what was the BS charge for? He couldn’t find the other end of the cable and said it must have fallen further into the console and needed to pull the entire thing out. After several minutes of embarrassment and over exaggerated apologizing, I was promised a refund and they kept the vehicle for more diagnosis. The next day I called for a status and I was told “it’s all done and ready for pickup”.... except they closed 3 minutes prior to me calling and despite me being in one of their loaner cars 3 blocks away the employee told me I would have to wait until Monday. Monday I stopped there after work and got the run-around about the refund. After getting the refund I asked what was wrong with the Jeep and the Manager told me the LED connector was bad and needed to be replaced. He then fumbled through some paperwork and told me it wasn’t fixed yet and they were waiting on a special order part. The part should be in today, but I already notified them to return it because I don’t want them working on my vehicle any more. Do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere. Totally unacceptable dishonest business practices from Bettenhausen. The dishonesty and incompetence is contagious and starts at the top and trickles itself to the staff. More

Fast and knowledgeable Nick was knowledgeable and answered every question we had. He seemed to get us the best deal and worked with us on the monthly price best he could. Knowledgeable and honest salesman...enjoyable experience! Tom was knowledgeable, honest, and extremely helpful. We had never leased a vehicle before and they presented us with all of the pros and cons making Tom was knowledgeable, honest, and extremely helpful. The Bettenhausen dealership overall appears well-run and consumer friendly without being pushy. We will be happy to give them our business in the future! Caitlyn Bettenhausen allowed me to drive her Compass in the summer and I loved it. I knew we were going to get our next vehicle from Bettenhausen. More

From walking into Showroom where Troy Bettenhausen said hello, to the rest of the staff making sure we where helped, to Kesa staying late to make sure we could get the best deal possible. Kesa sat with us and explained every step of the deal to make sure we got what we wanted for the best price , and the best finance rate. She called me the day after my Ram purches to make sure that I had no questions, and that if i did dont hesitate to call. I would recomend Bettenhausen and Kesa Douglas to anyone who wants the best car buying experience. More
