"Excellent service department. I've always been treated..."
Excellent service department. I've always been treated respectfully and the staff make sure everything gets done efficiently but thoroughly. I have no hesitation taking my 06 Mini to them.
They recently did a massive ($6k) restoration and they went above and beyond. My Mini has 184k miles and I have no doubt with Schomp doing the service it'll last for another 200k.
"An Enjoyable Experience"
Tyler Mihalik worked patiently to explain the differences between the multitude of choices offered by Mini and in stock at Schomp. Tyler was assisted by Ian Nugent-Head. The process was well paced and pleasant.
The trade appraisal was well handled by Jehan Ahmad. Ms. Ahmad explained Schomp's approach to taking trades and returned with a fair offer.
The new vehicle delivery was quick and easy.
Awesome customer care experience! Mr. Pryor showcased the Schomp business model and Mini Cooper brand with impeccable immediacy, professional decorum and superior knowledge above expectation! He has secured our loyalty to the brand and the Schomp organization perpetually, perhaps, and has exceeded the customer service experience! Thank you!
"Customer service OK but there were problems after.."
I presented my 2005 Honda Pilot for routine maintenance and left the vehicle at Schomp for the day. Tyler was the representative who met me in the morning. He asked me if there were any problems. I described that the "TMPS" indicator light was coming on regularly and needed an estimate for driver seat repair. He was great about calling and indicating clearly what was needed, the process and the cost. I picked up the vehicle at approximately 5pm and he was not present. An assistant asked me whether I would like the vehicle washed and I said "yes". A few minutes later, my Pilot was pulled up and another assistant explained that they did not want to run the car through the wash because of the "driver's side mirror". Historically, that the mirror has not responded to the control panel in the door of the car for months, so I said that that was OK, thinking that this was the problem (identified during the routine inspection that day). I drove away and approximately 5 min into the drive on the highway, the entire mirror fell out of the casing, banging away at the side of the car, only dangling by one small wire. This was NOT the condition that the mirror was in when I left the car that morning BY ANY MEANS. Also, the TMPS indicator light came on again during this drive home. I was clearly not expecting any of this. So, I called and spoke to Ryan at the Service Center when I arrived home (after holding the mirror with my hand so it would not fall off). I explained the situation and he indicated that I would need to talk to someone when the ordered part for the seat arrived at the dealership. I told HIM to document this incident so that it was recorded.
I am very dissatisfied with this development. I realize that things happen, especially in an older vehicle, but this mirror was in a normal (albeit stationary position) for a very long time with no issues from weather, wind, or driving. I need to speak to someone about how this will be fixed so that it is functional.
