If we hadn't been pre-committed for something that evening we could have waited and driven our new car home; things were just that easy, including leaving our trade in. Nabil Ghoniem, our salesman, is a man of his word, whatever he told us he followed through on. He even offered to have our new car driven to our house that evening if we wanted. He was a pleasure to work with! More

Fantastic customer service, Amanda & Joe the best!!! As a Visiting Nurse I was in a jam. I was working, it was 1 pm in afternoon and had more patients to see. I called dealership, very supportive, stated for me to bring car in to assess. Amanda in service was the best. She was juggling many other customers but took time to coordinate with Joe Aquilar to solve my problem. It was a special tire to be replaced and had to be ordered, they gave me a loaner car so I could finish seeing my patients and get through my day. I picked up my car all done with a beautiful car wash next day!! I had a Subaru in past and never got the customer service Raceway Kia gave me. In fact I asked my mechanic what was the best car to get when my Subaru started leaking oil, she stated get a "Kia". I love my Sportage. Bottom line is when buying or leasing a car the followup customer service is so important. I will recommend Raceway Kia to all my co workers and friends. Thank you Amanda and Joe for saving the day!!! Also special shout out to Izzy and Ufoma for finalizing my deal when I leased. Sincerely Peggy M. Howell More

Not Up To Any Industry Standards I have been waiting since Sat, of this previous weekend for the dealer to "call" a bank for an approval. It's now 4pm on that Monday and nothing? I'm I have been waiting since Sat, of this previous weekend for the dealer to "call" a bank for an approval. It's now 4pm on that Monday and nothing? I'm coming to get my down payment back before you can even reply to this review. Just horrible practices and such. Having 1 salesman dealing with one, two, or three deals at the same time. Well thanks for it being personal. Let's edit this and move 5 hours forward. Conviently after I had made it aware that I'd want my down payment back at 3PM on this Monday, the salesman wasn't available to speak with when I called and neither was the "one" sales manager who I could talk to. So I show up at 8:55PM and.... Well, they don't have $3,500 in cash that they had put in a safe in a plain white envelope, not a security bag either. It was deposited in the bank. As for the other additional amount to this down payments it was paid by debit card. They didn't have any money to do so and when I asked to refund the whole amount to debit the sales manager Ufuoama or excuse me if I mispelt his name, tells me it's unavailable. Debit is money from the bank, the same bank my cash was deposited in and a cash deposit is just about instant. Also, the local Freehold Police don't think it's a crime to take a person's money without any access to it when the person handing over the money had not signed any paperwork authorizing a deposit of my money. Well, depositing my money without consent, I think that's a police matter. As for the debit, that's signed consent but again can be refunded via any credit card reader that can accept a payment, it can refund a payment. Not to mention again that debit is cash readily available. There is no overdraft on a debit and well, if they deposited my money then it's readily available to do one transaction as a whole. Everytime the sales manager would walk over to the front desk as if he was going to make the transaction, he'd pause and tell me how only his dealership can get me a car, and he can guarantee me a vehicle. Well, why couldn't guarantee me one today? Convenience factor was that they had other customers with yes, I'll admit it probably a better credit score or report. However, $4,000 on your $16,500 vehicle is 25%. This is what most subprime lenders ask for. Also, try credit acceptance for a bank. They actually deliver same day results. Along with most banks. This is the only time I have seen such a hard time with an approval decision, and I sold cars for 7 years. The best part out of all this is that most of it is on video. The dealership cameras that even he, the sales manager pointed out and my personal cell phone. The finance manager came out at the end to try and show me how he had fought oh so hard for me to get approved. According to the sales manager he spent a batter half or his afternoon working on this deal. Now, I can't walk away because if I do no one else will be able to get me a vehicle if this Kia can't. They use banks and if those banks don't approved me here, they won't approved me anywhere else. True and false. Larger down payment or higher equity in the vehicle changes the loan risk. Also, when your salesman replies to any email in this format, "WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT??" then it doesn't show to much professionalism. All around this dealership seems to be auto-"pilot". Just remember that there are more dealerships then hospitals, school, and all emergency response put together. Don't settle for this dealership, please. Unless you are going in with prime credit and it's a sure shot then the dice are rolled. Snake eyes, for your last dice roll. I'm done with this review. I can't say much more then what I did and if you can't understand the point by now, well then go buy a car there because you'll be a perfect fit. Wait, don't try and talk loud to this sales manager, puff. All I can say is that when one person says or does wrong to another that normally the world does come around. Karma isn't a diseases, it's kyrptonite to those that treat others like... More

Long and tiring Chris' Knowledge of subject matter was terrible. He couldn't answer any question my wife or I asked him. He kept passin the buck saying it's not him who did this, this is on the GM who does this, or that he has no clue (in sales u never say I don't know it makes u look incompetent & actually let me the customer know I can take advantage of his incompetence. U say I can " I'm not 100% sure and don't wanna give u wrong info but I can find that out for u) Him making things up on the fly was reprehensible. Telling us we had or could get certain things and then didnt come thru was disgusting as well. The worst part about him was I'm in here buying TWO cars and his attitude is xxxx poor going back & forth with a customer who makes it known they wanna buy something today. Him going back and forth with me trying to be witty and passive aggressive wasnt working today for him. At the end of the day I'm a man first. I or my wife wasn't havin any of that. He thought he was a tough guy in control until we made him realize he wasn't. My wife and I have only resided in jersey for 2 years now. We are from Brooklyn and he's the 1st person we encountered in jersey that had a terrible attitude. Everyone else has been quite peachy. It made me not wanna spend $ here, In fact I wanted to leave, but my wife convinced me to stay because we've been looking for sorentos for a while and u guys gave us the best deal. So I put up with this 20 watt light bulb for the time being. He doesn't even realize how close he was to having a huge problem in that dealership. Korey just kept getting caught in his personal life lies then had the audacity with whomever his boss is try to charge us an interest rate that my wife and I knew we had better rates of from multiple companies. When you're getting caught in your own lies, it makes a customer not trust the dealership or purchase you're making. At that point we were 4 hrs in & just said "xxxx it" no use of walking out now. I know how all dealerships make most of their $ upcharging their interest rates which is cool with us. We know it's a business and u have to make your $, but after buying 12 cars from dealerships over my lifetime I never been upcharged so ridiculously! Then when we caught him charging us a rate that we already had a bank loan for he did the whole "let me go to the back" spiel & came back extending the term, but keeping the same interest rate that we said we weren't paying cause we knew we were approved for much less and him saying " no, see your payments are cheaper." My wife and I always put different occupations than we have so we don't get xxxxx with no lube. My wife is a neuroscientist at Columbia hospital with a post doc degree from Yale and I'm a mental health therapist. We're not boo boo the fools, and I was born during the day, but not yesterday, when I told him it's the same interest rates just over a longer term that I ain't doing that, he went to the back to formulate the next strategy. I know the dealerships passive aggressive pressure tactics keep them here as long as u can cause they generally will buy something and or crack to the dealerships demands. This 6.5 hour pressure cooker was like pre school. I once stood 9 hours to get the exact terms I wanted. The only person that was excellent of help was ufuoma Edojah. The sorento we purchased we got home and they panoramic sunroof wouldn't close. We had to leave it open all nite. My wife was flipping out on the phone he maintained a calm cool composure. When I bought my car in for service the next day which is today.... we felt we should of been the FIRST ones survived cause of the Raceways mishap. With that said its 2 hours later and I'm still standing waiting for my car to be seen. I told everyone that came up to me my family and I were supposed to be leaving for vacation 8 a.m. this morning so u would think it be a priority cause we just bought the same thing only 12 hours ago. Joe in service has no clue what planet he's on whenever u ask him anything at all. It's a shame this dealership is like this cause we love Kia. I have a Black label Navigator and we have other vehicles, but we use or Kia's for our "beater" vehicles to put mileage on and get us from point a to point b. This was pur 6th kia we purchased yesterday so have brand loyalty up the xxx and it's a shame it had to go like this. In 2 years I will buy a kia again, but dont think I'll be comin to raceway to get it. More
