If you’re a woman shopping alone, steer clear of this dealership. I made an appointment to test drive a Sportage on 8/18 and told the receptionist I was not interested in making a deal that day- only dealership. When I walked in, the person I was supposed to be meeting was nowhere to be found and instead I was met by John. John continuously tried to pressure me into a deal and repeatedly asked me what he’d have to do to get me to sign that day. I told him the deal would have to be extraordinary for me to push up my timeline. John also lied to my face and told me there were no 2026 vehicles on the lot and that I would have to pay a fee to get one from a different dealership. I had checked the inventory before walking in and asked if they had sold all of the 2026s that were listed on their website and he insisted they were all sold and none would be coming for the rest of the year. After leaving I checked again and their inventory had updated to reflect yet another 2026 coming soon. What happened next: he held my keys hostage while he “evaluated” my current vehicle, sent the sales manager Ufuoma over to continue pressuring me into a deal and together the two of them belittled me and insinuated I couldn’t afford one of their vehicles even though they never checked my credit and would not actually know anything about my finances. I made myself clear that I was not ready to purchase and they would not respect that NO MEANS NO. After this experience, my husband called reception to complain about the way I was treated and never received any communication back. The following day I called the GM, Vlad, left a voicemail and also never received any communication back. I was willing to let this go until 9/9 when I received a text from “Vlad” asking if I was interested in coming in to visit. I replied to the text explaining what happened and the only response I’ve gotten is them asking me if I’d like to limit my communications to only test drives. They are beyond unprofessional in their communications. They are inappropriate, insulting, rude and made what should have been a pleasant car shopping experience a horrendous afternoon. Avoid and go elsewhere. More

Awful dealership, run far and fast to get away from there. I understand the car market we are in and “market adjustment” however trying to sell a Niro EX-Touring for $5000 over MSRP is a new level of g there. I understand the car market we are in and “market adjustment” however trying to sell a Niro EX-Touring for $5000 over MSRP is a new level of greed. Then when I said I could buy a SX-Touring for sticker the sales manager basically called me a liar. At the end of the day I guess he did me a favor because I went and bought that SX-Touring and love it. If you are in the market for a KIA do yourself a favor and go to Fred Bean and don’t pay over MSRP. Oh and if someone from the dealership sees this, first I was totally willing to pay MSRP and drive away that day. Second thanks for not doing so, I never really thought about runway red but now that I have it I love it. More
