Tony was just great to work with, knowledgeable about cars in general and Suburus in particular, warm and personable, and straightforward in telling me what he could and could not do. To the extent that buying a car can be a positive experience, it was. I would gladly recommend Tony to anyone considering a Suburu. And everyone else I dealt with at MetroWest (Mike Cerone, VJ Donnelly, Diana) was great too. More

We were very happy with the experience and he even delivered the car to Vermont for us. We would recommended him to our friends and encourage them to make the trip to Natick to buy their next car. Thanks again, Tony, we will be return customers. The general sales manager, VJ Donnelly and the finance manager Mike Cerone were great as well and helped make the process easy. All in all a great team. More

Wish I had gone somewhere else I can’t say that I wouldn’t recommend you go to MetroWest Subaru, but I can definitely say that I do NOT recommend you go to Tony Chahwan. When I w I can’t say that I wouldn’t recommend you go to MetroWest Subaru, but I can definitely say that I do NOT recommend you go to Tony Chahwan. When I went in to look at three models to narrow down my research, I met Tony (his desk is right at the front door). He was personable and friendly, showed me the three models I wanted to see and there was no hard sell. I told him I’d come back on Sunday to test drive. I emailed him on Friday to let him know what models I would like to test drive, and told him what time I would be there on Sunday. His email response contained texting language/abbreviations and was, IMHO, unprofessional. However, he was ready for me when I arrived on Sunday, and took me for a test drive on the Crosstrek and then on the Forester, in the model and color that I had indicated I was interested in. I definitely preferred the Forester, so we sat down to make the deal. Again, he was personable and friendly. There was no hard sell, I had my Edmunds Price Promise and he used AutoTrader to calculate the trade-in value of my car, which was within a couple hundred dollars of the trade-in figures I’d calculated using KBB and Edmunds. When I went back to sign everything and take possession, I first met with Tony to go over the car. There was a small surface scratch on the front passenger side which I saw immediately and he said he should have checked it before I got there (YES, he should have). Then I met with the Mike, the Finance Manager, and I found out that Tony had given me false information about financing – Tony had told me that I should check with AAA and DCU to get the best financing rate before coming back in, and then the dealership would match the best rate. Utterly false information. Mike spent considerable time going over the options with me and doing his best to make up for Tony’s error, and he seemed sincere and professional. Once I received my registration, I sent Tony another email and copied Mike, the Finance Manager, regarding the false information Tony gave me regarding financing and offering them a chance to make things right before I leave any negative reviews. Tony basically blew me off, said he gave me the cargo cover at a reduced rate (which had been part of the initial price negotiation)and “i do what ever i can to help you.” (sic) Later in the day I heard from Mike and from VJ, the General Sales Manager, and they offered to cover the cost of the cargo cover ($129). At this point, that’s a very small part of my frustration, so it seems like an incredibly small gesture for them to make. Tony’s communication, both in person and via email, is poor; his emails are unprofessional. I do not trust what he says to be accurate, as there were instances of him giving me completely false information. I would never do business with Tony Chahwan again. Mike, the Finance Manager, was great to work with and seemed sincere, professional and knowledgeable. VJ, the General Sales Manager, was professional in his communication with me. So far my only experience with the Service department was in scheduling a time to have the remote starter antenna re-affixed, as it keeps coming loose. So in the end, I can’t say that I wouldn’t recommend you go to MetroWest Subaru, but I can definitely say that I do NOT recommend you go to Tony Chahwan. More

This is the 5th Suburu I have purchased from Sam Mayer of Metrowest Suburu in Natick, Ma. I now live in Vermont where a Suburu is the state flower....and I still drove to Ma. to trade-in my 2008 Outback for Metrowest Suburu in Natick, Ma. I now live in Vermont where a Suburu is the state flower....and I still drove to Ma. to trade-in my 2008 Outback for a 2014 Outback. Once again, my experience with Sam was outstanding and I give him an A+ for his knowledge, his attention to detail, and his interest in making sure that I got the car that I wanted. I would highly recommend Sam Mayer at Metrowest Suburu to my friends and family. More

Friendly, professional, courteous staff, that all seem to treat each other like family, took great care of our trade-in and new car sale. Josh Gellar introduced us to the service team, emailed frequently to ensure we were on the right track with inspection dates and registration information. VJ Donnelly previously assisted us with a deal a couple of years ago and it was nice to connect with him again. This team of experts is thorough in every way, offered a quality product at a good price. Even the usually painful financial experience was easy and pain-free. Definitely the Subaru dealership to go to! More

He's a laid-back guy who won't waste your time or play games or pressure you in any way. His consultative sales style comes naturally, and doesn't fit any negative stereotype that exists in the auto/sales industry. The Sales Manager (or maybe he is General Manager) was named V.J., and he is as much a gentleman and professional as Josh is. And the Finance Manager, Mary, is great also. And the service department's Sean Fitzpatrick is another asset to the dealership. Big thanks and much appreciation to this fine Subaru dealer. More
