Peter, thank you for taking the time to express your concerns and thank you for your purchase. In an everchanging automotive world, Kevin's job is to review the latest and most up to date maintenance/warranty programs, so our clients know what is available to them. We heavily believe, as well as see the results of the benefits these programs create for our customers long-term ownership experience. To clarify these programs are not 600/month, that payment included your car loan payment. As far as the financing goes, we work hard to have strong relationships with multiple lenders from local credit unions to national banks. At this point in time, we have over 20 banks to choose from. This matters so we can get our clients the best available rate from the most competitive bank, this changes on the daily. Although we arrange the financing, we are not the ones lending the money and do not have control over the bank guidelines. We have to abide by their rates and rules. I apologize there was a lack of clarity at this point and that this process did not get properly broken down for you. None the less, thank you for your business and input.

As expected, your response was primarily a canned, typical dealership one. It doesn't address or fully explain why Mr. Hine as a finance manager 1. apparently didn't know about the special financing offer on your own website and 2. why he would push the maint/warr programs three times. His job is to know what is on your website all things financial and to not deliver an uncomfortable, anger provoking experience when a client politely says no the first time. If their are bank guidelines as you wrote, then they should be clearly communicated on your website and in person, e.g. calling a family trust a business and therefore, making it ineligible for the special financing offer according to Mr. Tulley. I would like to see that in writing as that is very difficult to believe and feels like a classic "bait and switch" tactic. You also wrote that the $600+/month for the maint/warr program included my loan payment?? This is not possible because we hadn't even discussed the financing interest rate and loan terms yet! I would appreciate you signing your response so I know who to contact directly. Bottom line, your dealership failed to meet our expectations on the finance piece and on the honesty/trustworthy level.
