I looked for and found through the website the car I was hoping to buy. I then Contacted their Internet sales service by email, which they kindly responded promptly with answers to all my inquiries. Once I was satisfied with their answers to all my questions, I made a simple appointment to visit the dealership. Sales Personal Vanessa Lager, had the car ready for me to look at and test drive upon arrival for my appointment. Vanessa, in any way she could made sure I was understanding everything about the car(s) I was test driving. Her product knowledge, her understanding of my own budget concerns, made buying a new car extremely easy. Zimmerman Honda's staff did everything they could to show me, how, I would get the car I wanted, plus stay within my budget concerns. Once I said yes to the NEW CAR with sales rep Vanessa, finance Agent Aaron Mielke, introduced himself. Aaron, proceeded to do a tremendous job explaining, what, why and when all the numbers that come along with buying a NEW car would mean to me. Consisting of, but not only - The trade in value of my car towards the new car, my monthly payment agreement, how we agreed to the final price, what other options ( which were optional ) were available to me through the Honda programs. The numbers were put forth in a very relaxing manner to make sure, once again I understood exactly what I was buying. One final note, this was all finished well after closing hours. Vanessa and Aaron spent the extra effort and time after hours to simply make sure, I was extremely satisfied with my decision before I drove off in my new car. Doesn't take her long before she tells me I have one for you. The process is semi-fast and painless . I will buy my 3rd car from them also. A question in this review was, Where you left alone for more then 5 minutes at any point, I answered yes. And I'm glad I was because I'm not a people person I like to be left alone. Best car buying experience ever! My wife and I recently bought a 2015 Acura RDX that had 7000 miles on it. We dealt with Vanessa Lager to negotiate a price on the vehicle, and were a My wife and I recently bought a 2015 Acura RDX that had 7000 miles on it. We dealt with Vanessa Lager to negotiate a price on the vehicle, and were able to get a very good deal. This was the best possible deal we found anywhere in northern Illinois. Before signing the paperwork we took the RDX on a test drive and closely inspected the vehicle, which was in virtually new condition. We then bought the RDX and proudly drove it home, very satisfied. However the next day in the sunlight we found a 2 foot long scratch on the tailgate which was difficult to see. I took pictures of the damage and sent them to Vanessa, and after conferring with her by phone an appointment was made to paint the scratch. We felt we were partially at fault for not noticing the damage before we bought the car, and no one at the dealership noticed the damage either. We were worried we would have to pay for the paint job, but when we picked RDX up Vanessa informed us the dealership would pay for the repair at her insistence! We found Vanessa to be very courteous, honest, and forthright. We would strongly recommend this dealership to anyone and look forward to buying our next car there! More

Well worth the trip. We are very happy with our new Pilot. The staff was excellent and working with Luis was very easy as he attended to our needs and helped us evaluate We are very happy with our new Pilot. We came over from Iowa City and after an awful experience with Lujack's we just about headed back but since we were in the area we stopped at Zimmerman's and it couldn't have worked out better for us. The patience and attention made this experience well worth the trip. More
