Instead, this dealership turned it into an infuriating nightmare by scamming us out of nearly $6,000. While I was present, the salesperson quoted us a specific trade-in value and car price. Everything seemed fair, and we calculated the deal to fit comfortably within our budget. Confident in what we were told, I left to take our youngest son home, leaving my wife to finalize the paperwork with our daughter. That’s when Honda of Gainesville took advantage of the situation. They deliberately changed the numbers, raising the vehicle price by $2,000 and slashing the trade-in value by $4,000. They completely disregarded the deal we had agreed upon. My wife trusted them to honor their word, but instead, they manipulated her and my daughter during this special moment. To make matters worse, they didn’t provide printed paperwork for review—instead, they handed over a USB with the documents, likely hoping we wouldn’t realize the deception until it was too late. When we got home and reviewed the paperwork, we discovered their blatant fraud. It’s clear that Honda of Gainesville preys on women and exploits trust. What should have been a happy milestone for my wife and daughter became an infuriating experience due to the dishonesty and manipulation of this dealership. I strongly urge anyone—especially women and families—to avoid Honda of Gainesville at all costs. They are untrustworthy and will take advantage of you the first chance they get. Do not let them ruin your car-buying experience like they did ours. More

This dealership has a great team of associates in all depts. We found a very nice 2015 Ford Escape on-line and contacted them about doing a test drive. In the two days that we went to this dealership to look the Escape over, drive it, and then purchase it we were treated like family. I have never had a better experience in buying a car in my life than I had today. I worked with Don Like and Ed Baker during the course of the sale process as we made an incredible deal on a new 2015 Honda Odyessy. Unfortunately after searching inventory in 3 states our preferred color was not available. These guys went above and beyond and made me almost the same deal on the new 2016 as we had agreed upon for the Clearance sale. The process was great, my time was respected, and I am confident I could not have been treated better anywhere. I will recommend these folks to all of my friends without hesitation! More

Throughout my tenure of owing my 2010 Honda Pilo Matt Like became known to me in 2012 when I purchased my first Honda Pilot from Honda of Gainesville. Throughout my tenure of owing my 2010 Honda Pilot, Matt Like occasionally checked in with me to make sure the vehicle wasn't giving me any problems or if he could assist me in facilitating any service needs. Matt became a personal asset to my car buying experience. Naturally, while experiencing this type of customer care and earnest concern when I became interested in a new vehicle Matt Like and Honda was the first dealership I contacted. I texted Matt, and he explained he was given a promotion, he was over internet sells, but he and Ed Baker a salesman (I would soon get acquainted with) would do whatever they could to place me in the vehicle of my choice at the price I was looking to pay. It was a pleasure to work with Ed, he had that kind of ease that is rarely found in a salesman. His laid back, yet professional behavior was appreciated. Ed shared so much about my new vehicle verses my old vehicle, and I welcomed the comparison. Ed treated me as if he was selling a vehicle to a close family member, and that's a good feeling when making such a big investment. During the entire transaction I felt ease in my purchase, and respect from everyone I encountered at Honda of Gainesville. I never felt like the dealership was just trying to place me into some vehicle to get a sell. Each person I came in contact with, be it in person or they just handle my application, I felt like they worked to get me the best deal. I'm thankful for the General Manager whom was instrumental in closing my deal, Julio Perez, the Business Manager, who took the time to explain the financing every step of the way.
