I have been looking to replace my truck for about 18 months and through my extensive research on Consumer Reports I noticed that Lexus was the only car that had multiple successive years with a 5 rating months and through my extensive research on Consumer Reports I noticed that Lexus was the only car that had multiple successive years with a 5 rating for reliability. This was my number 1 criteria, so I decided to test drive one... I made a trip to Akron/Canton Metro Lexus to see how I would like the ES350, it was a nice 2017 maroon with parchment interior. Oh boy, what a car! From start to finish the experience was wonderful, Yoko T. was eager to make me feel comfortable in my journey to find my next car... I was unsure about not having my tuck as it has been my baby for more than 7 years! Yoko never made me feel rushed or pushed, she kept me in the loop and listened to my needs. She was kind and patient, a sister friend now so I will speak her name when anyone I know is looking for a quality car sold by a quality person! Bye Bye truck... Uh Oh, wait a minute - when I switched my golf clubs from my truck to the ES I noticed that the trunk had a significant gap between the rubber seal and bumper. This did not look right and I suddenly felt a bit nervous - did I make a mistake? Without hesitation Yoko agreed with this assessment and she immediately took the car to the shop. Thanks to Yoko's assurances I started to feel better, its always people that bring me to ease rather than things. The service manager came out of a meeting and he examined the trunk issue and agreed that this was something the shop missed when they certified the car. I'll have to be temporarily away from my beautiful ES a while as they repair this issue. But my experience to date with Akron/Canton Lexus has been wonderful so I have no doubt that this will be resolved with no cost and minimal inconvenience to me. After all, it is a used car, but an awesome one at that. Yoko is 5 star, Jim (Sales Manager) is 5 star and Caleb (Finance) is 5 star. I celebrate my experience with this dealership. Sales person Yoko was great, she was very helpful and she did a great job to sell me my truck, the dealership on the other hand was quit the pain in my you know what!! I drove 3 hours to this dealership to buy this specific vehicle, I had all the paper work needed to trade in my vehicle and buy the one that I drove 3hrs down to get, finance had an issue with the paper work and would not release the vehicle that I bought from them, I was there all day, did not leave until 7:30 pm, and drove back home 3 hours with out my new vehicle I just bought, then come Monday, I took the day off from work and drove back down 3 hrs and still waited around for 2 hrs while finance did more paper work to get me the vehicle that I bought on Saturday. Very disappointed with this dealership, sales people where great. Finance was not good at all. More
