I went in looking for a used vehicle and ended up buying a new one. Chris was a joy to work with as he listened to me a Customer, asked questions the right way, wanted to understand me as customer and what my needs were. Chris took the time to show me features and functions of the vehicle before I left the lot. Chris really made the actual testing driving and buying experience one of the best I have had. In additon to Chris, Andy was also very helpful and Blythe took the time needed when I picked up my tags. Both Andy and Blythe should also get a 5 star. This part of the review does not reflect my excellent experience with the Sales Person. Be weary of the the trade in process if you owe on the vehicle. Three weeks later I still have the loan in my name and still fighting the process to get this resolve. I have spent too many hours dealing with poor customer service. I have been on the phone every day, emailing and was made promises multiple times that this would be resolved. At this point, my kindness and patience seem to allow them to believe I was okay with the delay. So then I had to get stern and demanding which still has left me with no finalized action as of 09/26 in the AM as unresolved. I did receive a call that someone was now going to drive a check to my bank but I have yet to receive a follow up that has actually happened. I called the bank to verify and they haven't received the payment as of yet. I have sent emails every day to certain individuals who no longer respond. I have asked for the names of supervisors with still no response. Basically it's my problem that a loan is sitting in my name where I had to make additional payments on the vechile that has been in their possession since 09/05/2025. At this point my new vechile payment is also due. In hindsight I had a deal from CARMAX to sell my trade in vehicle and should have just done that. I was told Hertiage Mileone would make it easy for me and match what CARMAX was giving me for my trade in. It has made this a continuing nightmare. This the reason why I chose a one star (which should be zero) and said that I would not recommend this dealership for that part of the process. More

You know, every so often you stumble into a place where the folks behind the counter remind you that work — real work — is about more than punching a clock. That’s exactly what I found at Heritage Subaru o the folks behind the counter remind you that work — real work — is about more than punching a clock. That’s exactly what I found at Heritage Subaru of Catonsville. Let me tell you about Ms. May. Twenty years in the Subaru family will teach you a lot of things: patience, persistence, the ins and outs of vehicles that last longer than most marriages. But what struck me wasn’t just her knowledge. It was her knack for making a customer feel like they’re not just buying—or in my case, leasing—a car. She made me feel like I was joining a family. That kind of approach doesn’t come from a sales manual. It comes from years of doing the job right, and doing it with heart. Then there’s General Manager Zil. If kindness and generosity had a showroom, he’d be the one greeting you at the door. His experience shows, but more importantly, so does his humanity. He’s the guy who makes you believe the whole process doesn’t have to feel like a wrestling match. And Paris? No nonsense. No hard sell. No pressure. Just straight talk. In a business where smoke and mirrors can sometimes be the norm, that sort of honesty is downright refreshing. Together, these three — along with the rest of the team at Heritage Subaru of Catonsville — managed to turn what is normally a painful rite of passage into something I never thought I’d say: a joyful experience. And now, thanks to them, I’m driving off in a 2025 Subaru Impreza, smiling all the way home. So here’s to the people who make hard work look easy, and to a dealership that proves integrity and good humor still have a place in business. Heritage Subaru of Catonsville — you’ve earned my respect, and my gratitude--not to mention every Subaru sale for as long as they'll let me have a drivers license! More
