This dealership is always the same...positive and ask if there is any way to help a customer. Bill Stout absolutely always wanting to know if he can help a customer. Good honest work ethic and cares about his customers. At some level ALL the personnel w/Scholfield/Hatchett seem almost like a neighbor.

"Extreme dissatisfaction!!"

My husband and I purchased a brand new Hyundai Santa Fe in October of 2012. We had no issues with it until this past October 2014. We were on our way out of town and the vehicle shut off without warning while going 65mph on the highway. We had to call family to rescue us and the vehicle ended up being towed into the dealership. It was determined that the fuel line had collapsed and it was replaced. We were assured that the fuel line was different than the previous fuel line so the problem would not happen again. Our Santa Fe is our only "reliable" vehicle. I was promised a rental car while ours was being fixed. I was given a compact car, a hatchback Ford Focus, to drive. I was told that this was what Hyundai would pay for and if I wanted to upgrade it was on me. I was not happy as my husband is 6'4", we have an infant son who requires a car seat, I relied on the Santa Fe for travel for my job, etc. The compact car was an inconvenience, but I tolerated it. We got the Santa Fe back a few days later and all was good until about two months later. We were again on our way out of town and the Santa Fe made an ungodly noise and again died while going down the highway. We had to once again call family to rescue and the vehicle was towed to the dealership. We were told the vehicle's engine "was knocking" and therefore would require a brand new engine. A 2 year old vehicle with 40,000 miles required a new engine! My husband is a mechanic and had done all the maintenance on the vehicle, it had been cared for well. In fact, he had just changed the oil a few days prior. I am the primary driver and do not drive the vehicle recklessly. The service team told us they could arrange another rental for us while it was being fixed but it would be another compact car, as that is what Hyundai will pay for. "It's their policy" is what we were told. Which would not work for our family and our needs. After much run around, prodding, expressing extreme dissatisfaction, we were given a larger vehicle to drive. The other issue was we reside about an hour from the dealership and with the Santa Fe being our only reliable vehicle, had no way to get to the dealership to pick up the rental car and family was unavailable to help. We asked for assistance and again, after expressing extreme frustration, etc. and several phone calls later, the dealership was able to provide us with assistance in getting to town to get the rental car. The customer service was all around terrible. I called the salesman who sold us the vehicle 2 years prior in hopes that he would assist us with the situation, but I received no help. I called him initially and was promised that he "would look into it" and call me back. He never called back and I ended up calling him again the next day. I felt like we had to fight to get good customer service. We even called the management of the dealership to express our frustration and NEVER GOT A RESPONSE!! Our phone calls were not returned. The service team assisted us the most and were the most helpful .But we still had to fight for that! We will never buy a Hyundai again or deal with any of the Scholfield dealerships. We will also tell all our family and friends about our awful experience with the vehicle itself and the dealership. We are not in a position to be able to trade off the vehicle, but as soon as we can, we will!

After receiving a pleasant, non-pressuring call from Bill Stout after scheduling an oil change on my Sonata he asked to meet me while there for my service appointment to talk about cars. Before he got there I got to meet Danny who was also very helpful. I don't usually like buying cars, however that was not the case today. Everyone was so very helpful and pleasant to deal with. From Chad in finance to Bill Stout showing me the new car it was a good experience. Thank you!

I have owned my Hyundai Sonata for 10 days now. The sales experience was great but the service after the sale was even better. I had a couple of minor issues with the car and they took care of it no problem. Spencer, Eric, and service are great to work with. I have found they are not just about selling cars but also taking care of their customers. I highly recommend Scholfield Hyundai.

The best car buying experience ever! I was nervous about purchasing a car without my husband, but Hyundai West hands down is the BEST!!!! I felt so comfortable! I came in initially planning to lease, and John gave me all the facts and emailed all the options for a new Sonata. We were not exactly sure where we wanted to go, rather lease or purchase we just knew we were spending a fortune in gas with our SUV. I changed my mind a few times between purchase and lease. John was so patient with me. He gave me all the options laid them out in an email and was PATIENT!!!!! He was never pushy nor treated me like a inexperienced woman buying a car alone. John emailed me things that I asked for so I could be sure to explain it all very well to my husband. The few different times I went into the store, I would call John, and even though he was with a customer bying a new car, he took the time to make sure I was taken care of, and met me at the door everytime; because it was a convienent time for me to stop by and look at things. John set me up with Hamilton, and he was so helpful. He asked what I wanted to spend, where I needed to be financially and said I have 2 cars that hold exactly what you are looking for; and he was right on the money. I test drove a 2012 Hyundai Elantra limited and fell in love. He set me up and sent me home for the weekend to see what I thought. They kept my SUV, and planned to see what price they could give for trade in. Well low and behold on Monday morning, they had a price, and it was close to where my husband thought it needed to be, then my husband recommended a little more for trade in and they went for it. So easy to deal with. John didn't try to give me all the perks that they give to you when you purchase from Hyundai, he just took care of it. No questions, no bargaining, just great customer service. Then when all was finalized I came in to sign the papers. I dealt with Spencer and then Kurt, and really thought they were nice. They both paid attention to my son, and filled his needs while we were there. The next day I came in to give them a check for my purchase, and they detailed my new car, and gased it all up for me. It was so shiney! John helped me get all of my personal belongings out of my SUV, and even took off all the tags and helped me remove the XM satellite as well. What a treat. I will never go anywhere else for a vehicle purchase and have already recommended Hyundai West for a friend that is looking for a car. AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! Thank you John, you are a wonderful salesman, and deserve appreciation! I am a very happy woman, and my husband is very thankful for the care that you gave to me in my purchase. And not to mention I am getting average 35 MPG...WOW!!!! You deserve an award! Sincerely, April Torske

I recently bought a used Hyundi Santa Fe, and came in to get an oil filter, and some touch up paint. Dave was very helpful with the oil filter and recommended I also get a gasket for the drain plug, which he included at no charge! He then arranged for the body shop to mix up the touch-up paint I needed, and called me the next day to inform me it was ready. When it wasn't an exact match, the shop remixed another sample on the spot! I must say, the overall service experience I received for such a small purchase was very impressive. If this experience is typical for all aspects of the Scholfield Hyundai experience, you have gained a new fan! Thank you very much!
