I bought my current car from this dealer nearly three years ago. This is the second new Lexus I owned. Unlike last one, this time around my experience with them was very poor from the onset. Anyway, I years ago. This is the second new Lexus I owned. Unlike last one, this time around my experience with them was very poor from the onset. Anyway, I brought the car in for an inspection a few days ago with some engine issue I noticed. I mentioned to them last time when I had my routine service, and they thought it was due to the main battery, hence, replaced it. However, it didn’t solve the problem, and lately, it had happened regularly when I started the car, especially in the morning when the engine is cold. I left the car there overnight, yet they told me they can’t find anything wrong with it. They simply blamed the battery in key fob that needs to be replaced. The problem, however, is after the engine started and it has nothing to do with the key fob’s battery. I found them less enthusiastic in finding the issue. The adviser , John, I worked with even made me feel like I may have caused the issue and quoted me a service fee of $199, if that is the case. I remember one time in the past that he even argued with me about getting a loaner car for my service, and it was not because the service does not entitle to a loaner, but because it’d only take one hour or so to perform and, in his opinion, a loaner is not necessary. I am very busy in my profession, and can’t just sit around and wait. My problem still exist and I may have to find someone else to diagnose the issue. But never again will I buy from them, nor would I have any recommendation. Lexus is known for its quality and customer satisfaction. But I have found neither is true. I brought the car new and it was assembled in Japan. I got to test drive it as soon as it got off the boat. Yet there were already a few issues with it since I own it. With unsupportive staff and poor customer service experience at the dealership, I am less inclined to to do business with them again. More
