Came to the dealership for the inspection. Was told my computer was not responding to the NYS Inspection system and I that have to drive for at least 50 miles to make the computer ready. I was told this computer was not responding to the NYS Inspection system and I that have to drive for at least 50 miles to make the computer ready. I was told this problem was due to my car battery being disconnected at some point or maybe my car was standing for a long time without being started. Never had anyone disconnected a battery in my car and the car never stood for more than a couple of days because I drive the car to work 5 days a week. Anyway, the next year I had the same problem during an inspection. I was told to drive the car again for 50 miles and come back. This time I went to a local car repair shop and they were able to determine in a matter of 10 minutes that the wire connections inside the computer were bad. Paragon Honda never even bothered to check for the problem. I was able to get the car fixed at another Honda dealership upstate NY. More
Never again. Do not go here. All of the employees are xxxxx, liars and thieves. The saleman is very unreliable. Can not get in touch with him after the day of the sale. The service ppl are hooligans t xxxxx, liars and thieves. The saleman is very unreliable. Can not get in touch with him after the day of the sale. The service ppl are hooligans taking hours to install lo-jack and then they makes me take the car to get it detailed at another location. The finance manager who apparently "left" the company lied about the warranty package. She said that the car would be comprehensively covered for 7 and not the 4. Do not go here. They will try to take your money. As enticing as the car might be, it's not worth the lies and trickeries they have up their sleeves. I wish the BBB would come and inspect their transactions. More
Bait and Switch. Rip Off. Internet Sales department just wants to get you on the lot. I drove to NY from PA to pick this vehicle up. I only drove into Queens because I kept confirming that the vehicle I wants to get you on the lot. I drove to NY from PA to pick this vehicle up. I only drove into Queens because I kept confirming that the vehicle I wanted was still available during the drive to New York. When I got there, a salesperson informed me that the vehicle was sold the previous day. I told him that I had spoken to their sales department 10 minutes prior and they told me the vehicle was still on the lot. The user car manager has no business being there. He has no idea how to treat a customer. I saw about 50 people waiting to purchase a car there. I would advise you to stay away from Paragon Honda. It is a scam. There are terrible car dealers and then there's Paragon Honda. They are at an all new low, especially the manager. More

I bought a blue Civic which needed a repair including bodywork six months later. The purchase was really a comedy as the finance manager, whose wife gave him a broken arm, lied to me about my credit. On bodywork six months later. The purchase was really a comedy as the finance manager, whose wife gave him a broken arm, lied to me about my credit. On the repair, the dealership send my car to Deans' repair a few miles away and they had ten days but took three weeks to finish the repair. Meanwhile, I bought another car. When I got the blue Civic back, the paint was just horrible. I tried to get the dealer to fix the problem but they did nothing. The hood and fender and bumper looked like cheap nail polish. Paragon called the Honda rep for the district after I wrote to HONDA in Connecitcut - a guy named Russell who is just a clown for the company who tried to manipulate me into liking the wrong color. I made a DMV complaint. The result when they looked at the car was to give me some money and make the dealership pay a heft fine. The body shop did not replace some support bars. The DMV said the color was close (no clear on my body and no flex in the bumper paint.) Six months later the paint on the bumper was cracked like alligator skin and falling off, and the front looked wierd, but the money I got was not enough to repaint the problem areas. Sold the mechanically good vehicle to a friend whose teenage daughter needed a car. Paragon Honda has an integrity problem with their sales people; as well as their repair department. This comes from the top down since their owner, Paul Singer is one of the 25 or so richest men in USA, and this dealership is simply amusement. Brian Benstock married his daughter so you have zero support complaining to the company true owner. Check the DMV complaint web site for Paragon. More
Don't waste your time in this dealership. The finance manager Gary Lin charged me $4000 optional items on a 07 Accord without tell me. After I found this out on the contract paper, I was told he won't sell me the car if I'm not going to purchase any of those. I refused the deal and he told me I will receive my deposit refund in 3 business days. I called to them everyday to inquiry the process of my refund and was told I would get it tomorrow or in few business days. In fact, I received my refund back in almost a month after I visited the store and talked to the manager again. Type Paragon Honda in Google and you will find many bad reviews and complaints about this dealership. www.bbb.org also pointed this store out has an unsatisfactory record. "Reports to the Bureau indicate that Paragon Motors of Woodside charges consumers in excess of $2000 in extra fees that are not immediately disclosed to consumers. Consumers report that prices of vehicles are higher than advertised. Consumers also allege that it can take over 2 months to receive a deposit refund when they choose not to purchase a vehicle through Paragon." I learned my car buying lesson from this store. More
This dealership doesn't appreciate peoples time and money. I was visiting the dealership for a 07 honda odessy . I met with salesperson Mike fermin i was given a quote that was outrageously low. When i money. I was visiting the dealership for a 07 honda odessy . I met with salesperson Mike fermin i was given a quote that was outrageously low. When i returned later that evening to make a deal the price was not the same it was about $75 dollars more a month and 2000 dollars more to put down. I got in to argument with the sales person and told them i wasn't doing business with them. The next day the secretary called me about ten times. I told her i leased the car from bronx honda where they where respectful and gave me a quote which they kept. Don't waste your time or money to them they are scamers and don't appreciate your business. More
the worst car sales people i have ever dealt with. I had to drive there 3 times to put a deposit on a car and each time i got there was told i was to late and somebody already put a deposit. so the last tim to drive there 3 times to put a deposit on a car and each time i got there was told i was to late and somebody already put a deposit. so the last time i was assured and re assured that the deposit fell thru. So being that this deposit fell thru twice i brought my mechanic to check out the car to see why people kept giving up deposit and not taking car. Anyways it turned out the car had many problems, oil leak, bad turbos, bad cv joints, exhaust ready to fall off, broken hoses and others that i wont mention. This car was obviously used and it was an Audi but seemed like a good deal except the problems. So after everything i was ready to put down a deposit negotiating the price down significantly if all problems werent fixed prior to delivery. Anyway after sitting down i was told that there had again been a deposit put on the car. Needless to say i left that place and ignored all calls from the dealer after that calling me to see if maybe if this deposit doesnt go through maybe you can finally get the car. Yeah right!! even if it didnt i would never buy a car from this place or deal with them in anyway they are all morons and have no system in place to see if deposits have been put on cars??? Not to mention the first time i saw the car it was raining the windows were open and there was garbage all over the car??? who does that when they know your coming to look at it. That should have been the sign for me never to go back or deal with these utter morons. More
We're on the market for a new family vehicle because we have a 16 month old and another on the way in March of 2008. We decided to try Paragon Honda since it's only about 4 miles from home. After getting have a 16 month old and another on the way in March of 2008. We decided to try Paragon Honda since it's only about 4 miles from home. After getting a price quote from Edmunds and sent to Paragon, I got two phone calls within three hours and had an appointment for Monday 9/24 at 7:30 for a test drive. We arrive at the dealership wait approximately 10 minutes. Suraj was assigned to us and we told him we were looking for a CRV with 4 wheel drive which is important because of my long drives to work. He showed us a 2007 EX-L with the full blown package which was intriguing, but out of our budget. After a brief demonstration of the EX-L model, we wanted to take a test drive. After 5 minutes of looking for a desk and getting a copy of my license with the words "do not run credit, you are being monitored", he disappears for 30 minutes. Finally we take our test drive, but in the EX-Base Model :(. Even though it was the base model, the car was great, roomy and fits our needs. After the test drive we asked him to go over some numbers on the 2007 CRV EX-4WD and he wouldn't. Going back and forth about prices I saw and printed from the Honda website, he still wouldn't discuss numbers. After 10 more minutes we asked him for his business card and materials about the CRV Models and he said he didn't have any. He said to me if you want to make a deal come on Sunday 9/30. Having been in Real Estate sales for six years I know he works on commission and know the similar tricks. While he was quite friendly and not pushy, he definitely made it clear that he was only looking to discuss numbers if we were willing to make a deal that night. Quite disappointing since I told him I was already pre-approved and had my credit report with me. I think that bothered him!! After 1.5 hours of BS WE WON'T BE GOING BACK!!!! ADVICE -- GO PRE-APPROVED, PREPARED WITH QUOTES AND WITH YOUR CREDIT REPORT -- THEY HATE IT!!! More
Worst service center I've ever dealt with, I own a Honda Accord and brought it in for service. The manager Mr. Patito is very incompetent and thinks his ego can fix almost any mistakes his crew makes. They Accord and brought it in for service. The manager Mr. Patito is very incompetent and thinks his ego can fix almost any mistakes his crew makes. They tried to do extra work when the vehicle did not need it, and when the vehicle was returned to me it was dirty and it has grease stains in the interior. The customer service is lacking and the service reps are rude and condescending. Would never purchase a car form theses morons and will not use the service center again. THEY ARE A RIP-OFF ***BUYER BEWARE*** More
