Also, since I was paying cash, I feel you should be able to excel the process as well as offer a few perks if you expect to have returning customers (as we stated to our sales person, we had been Ford people for the last 20 years and we were just crossing over to Chevy)in the future. We were missing our manual glove, we didn't get any clear information on service hours or proceedures, and other dealers were offering Free lifetime oil changes to get our sale, but we were told you don't do that (after calling back we did end up getting 3 oil changes after all.) It was a wierd experience, usually when I've bought a new car I've felt pretty satisified and excited, this day it was just annoying and I couldn't wait to drive the 25 miles or so home in my new truck. More

Went in to just test drive a car and walked out with a 2011 Equinox. Everyone there was very friendly and our sales person was knowledgeable, patient and very easy to work with. Last year we bought an Equinox for my daughter, and we worked with another employee he was great. So when it was time to buy another car we kept him in our minds, we purchased a 2008 Chevy Silverado from him this weekend and he was very kind and courteous. I received a Letter Fron the General Manager Mike Maheras. The letter was to inform that my car had reached its first Birthday. I also love the fact that everybody at Phillips continues to Treat me with continuous respect everytime I walk through that door. I had an opportunity today to even meet Happy who had a beautiful writeup in the newspaper. He handed me a heart today which is the symbolic mascot of what Phillips Chevrolet is all about. Tim Christ is a extremely hard worker and was very busy today yet continued to keep everybody happy and content. Tim was able to explain to all of his customers what type of service and was able to have those matters taken care of in a timely manner. Mr. Mark Hawkins always stops to joke and laugh with me about my next purchase and we already have it picked out. I will let you ask him he will tell you which one it is. On February 14, 2011, I purchased a 2011 Chevy Equinox LT from Phillips Chevrolet. The last time I bought a new car was in 1996. Needless to say, I was very nervous about this new purchase. Little did I know that I would have no reason to be nervous when working with the team at Phillips Chevrolet. My salesman, Jeff Stewart, instantly put me at ease. Jeff is very knowledgeable and was extremely patient with me. He took the time to answer all of my questions and he never put any pressure on me. Jeff worked with me for several months to find the perfect vehicle for me. As soon I found the vehicle, and the price was set, it was time to work with the Finance Department. The gentleman that worked with me on the financing could not have been nicer. He thoroughly explained everything that was available to me (extended warranties, etc.). At no time was I ever pressured into signing up for anything additional. The entire process was easy and fun! Everyone at Phillips Chevrolet is very friendly and accommodating.
