I would like to share with you my happy experience with Phillips Chevrolet in Frankfort. It was a bitterly cold day in December and I decided to look at new vans for my business at some of the local dea Phillips Chevrolet in Frankfort. It was a bitterly cold day in December and I decided to look at new vans for my business at some of the local dealers. I was at the Phillips Chevrolet outside storage lot looking at the vans they had in inventory and I was surprised when a salesperson came out and introduced himself and offered to help me. I told him that "I was just looking" and he said "that is fine, let me drive the van you are looking at indoors where it is much warmer for you to look at". He drove it inside and offered me a cup of hot coffee and then explained all of the features of the van I was considering. The van was perfect for my needs and the all that remained was the price. Usually this is a long,drawn out,time wasting experience full of drama. Not at this dealership. Jeff told me the price and after a short negotation period the deal was done and I bought my van. The delivery went smoothly as all of the paperwork was ready on time and the truck was ready for delivery. When i complimented Jeff on the professional manner in which this purchase was handled Jeff replied "it was easy, this is the way Phillips Chevrolet does business, they want the customers to be happy" I now have my van serviced there as it is convenient and it is always ready on time. If I need a ride back to work they have a shuttle that will drive me back or pick me up at "no charge". It has been two years since i bought this van and Jeff Stewart still calls me just to keep in touch. Would I ever consider buying anywhere else? Absolutely not! Why would I want to go anywhere else when I am so well treated at Phillips. No I am not related to or connected with anyway with anyone there on a personal basis,I am just an average customer which at this place makes you special. Thank you to everybody there! When I first went to Phillips Chevrolet, I was greated by the door and even walking in the showroom, every sales person or employee would say hello. The atmosphere is wonderful. I have known Jeff for several years. When I decided to purchase a newer vehicle, I went to him because I know how thorough he is. He found what I was looking for, at the price I wanted to pay. Albion was extremely helpful. We didnt have many options but he worked with us. Not only did he get us into the car we wanted, he was able to do it extremely quick. Several years ago I purchased a used vehicle from Phillips Chevrolet, Frankfort, IL., thru Hap Bettenhausen and was very plesed with the friendliness and in talking with HAP found out we had mutual f Phillips Chevrolet, Frankfort, IL., thru Hap Bettenhausen and was very plesed with the friendliness and in talking with HAP found out we had mutual friends. On occasion I would return for service and enjoy Haps company. Several years later my wife and I returned to Phillips and checked out the new Chevies, and I was looking at one vehicle my wife was looking at another one, a Used Demo 2004 Chevy Maxx, Silver, 4 Dr., and she fell in love with it. Thus we traded off the old Mercury and left that day with Maxx. Many more trips were made to PHillips for service and of course conversation with Hap. During those visits I met several other Employees/Sales Persons, i.e. Matt Braley for one. On July 1, 2010, I purchased a 2010 Chevy Impala 4 Dr Sedan thur Sales Persons Hap Bettenhausen, and Jeff Stewart, who took me for a test drive and explained the mechanics and operational aspect of this vehicle. Several miles later I was sold on the vehicle and went back to the Showroom and closed the deal. I am very pleased with my continued dealings with both Mr Bettenhausen and Mr Stewart, and their followups for any questions and/or problems with the vehicle amazes me. It is said that the 2nd most stressful purchase one will make will be a new vehicle, second only to a new home. Having purchased many new vehicles I can honestly say that statement is true, until now!! I re make will be a new vehicle, second only to a new home. Having purchased many new vehicles I can honestly say that statement is true, until now!! I recently purchased a new 2010 Malibu for my wife and another 2010 Malibu for my daughter a week later. I should add the second was not planned. These 2 experiences were, by far, the least stressful vehicle purchases I’ve ever had. It all had to do with the people we dealt with. Jaime Birks, my salesperson could not have been better. She never made me feel pressured to buy and she answered all of my questions. I was never called and asked if I’ve made a decision. I was only contacted to answer any questions I may have had. Once my wife and I decided on a certain Malibu, which we love by the way, Jaime got Sales Manage Mike Darge involved. He was absolutely fantastic. At no point did we feel like we were put in the corner and given the ultimate “Take it or leave it” line. I understand they are in business to make money, but man did they work with me on a price that was right for me and fair for Phillips Chevrolet. Lastly I need to give kudos to Matt Braley in Finance. He discussed options with us but never pressured us to buy anything extra. This was, without a doubt, the best vehicle purchase we ever had. That was until we purchased our second Malibu.
