Disappointed Customer Service I was very disappointed with the service I received last week. I had an appointment for Thursday at 7:30 for 2 recalls. Since I was dropping the car off, I took it in on Wednesday and left it. Wednesday afternoon I received a call stating that they got my car in and my recalls were complete. The 12 points inspections indicated I needed brake pads. At first I did say not to do the brake pads., however, Thursday morning (remember I had an appointment) I called and said go ahead and do the brakes. On Friday afternoon at 3:30 pm I arrived to pick up my car and was I was told the brakes were not done. No apologizes, no explanation. I was advised that I wait in the waiting room while the papers were prepared. I was not impressed at all on how this was handled and the customer service I received. More

My experience was very upsetting overall. I felt that they had it in their head that "this young female is not going to purchase a vehicle so lets get her out of here so we can deal with someone who will." I was spoken to with a poor tone, heard sighs and even observed them rolling their eyes. In addition to their poor social cues, I learned that they rated my trade-in lower based on failing to provide accurate information. Two things I learned from my experience at Spitzer Acura, I will never purchase a vehicle from them and I will never go to a dealership without my husband. More

I was given Bob Burke's name as an Acura salesman when looking to trade in my 10 yr. old Maxima for a gently used RDX. He was a breath of fresh air! We went to Spitzer to look at the ILX Hybrid. Bob was extremely nice and helped us close the deal quickly. We traded in our CR-V and received a great deal, even more than we had anticipated. The car is great and my experience with Bob made it even more reassuring in knowing I stepped in the right direction. Special thanks as well to Jeff for his help. I haven't been services yet - so I will rate that as well when the time comes. The carry over from sale to service seems like it too will be a smooth transition. I'm happy and looking forward to years to come of Acura fun. I hope to visit Bob more than service - that's the best case scenario ?? More

A few weeks later, we contacted another local Acura dealer and got an quote via email from them that was less than Spitzer's price by $500 without ever leaving our home. Needless to say, purchased from the other Acura dealer, who spent a lot of time showing us how to use the tech package and gave us a better trade in amount as well. More
