We have leased or owned several toyotas since 1994. Our experience with Justin and the Wallingford Toyota was by far our best experience. We appreciated the attention to detail as well as their willingness to go the extra mile. That is why we chose them instead of a dealer closer to our home.

The staff was friendly, efficient and professional. It was clear that the staff enjoyed there job and that made for a stress free atmosphere. From start to finish, my car buying experience was pain free. In the future, I would not hesitate to recommend this dealership to friends and family.

My Review of Toyota and Scion of Wallingford:
I purchased a new vehicle but I had to wait a month while the dealer located the specific model that I wanted, but I had no problem waiting. After the dealer located the vehicle I was told I could pick up the vehicle on a Monday night. After arriving to pickup my vehicle I was told that it was not ready but no one called me, so I made the trip for nothing.

I stayed and completed all the necessary paperwork so I would only need to pick up the vehicle the next day. So I came back the next day and the car looked good but I had a problem with my registration. I was charge $175 for the registration but the final price ended up being $120. I was told by the finance manager that I would be refunded the difference if the registration was less than $175. I was refunded the difference only after I said something to the dealership staff member that gave me the registration. They were very prompt with sending me a check a few days later.

Four days later I noticed the spoiler that ordered and had the dealership install was coming off on the corner. The car was still being worked on when I came to pick it up so it looks like they rushed the installation of the spoiler. I’m going to contact the dealership and see how they handle this problem.

All in all this dealership is ok but the staff needs to work on their communication with each other and not rush things for the sake of the sale.

There probably not enough words to describe the phenominal sevice we get when we walk through the doors at Toyota of Wallingford. Dave is such a friendly salesman and not pushy at all. "Whenever I can help you out let me know" If it is my day off I'll come in to meet you. "whenever you can pick the car up if I am off I'll come in"--These are just some of the things Dave says. And that is what we love about Toyota of Wallingford! Management is always pleasant--they treat us like we are part of the family. We have owned toyotas before--(which we purchased here) and the sevice is GREAT, When bringing the cars in for service Bob in the service department along with his team are always very pleasant and knowledgable. I wouldn't buy a Toyota anywhere else!!!!

went into dealership looking for a new 2010 camry sales person mike greeted me with a smile and asked was i interested in the camry i said yes, i wanted a LE, i asked him if it was alright for test drive he said "let me ask you something.. how much are you willing to put down" i said no more than $1000 and my trade, he laughed at my chevy blazer and said good look and walked away
i then was greeted by a middle eastern decent man named hibeeb he said oh done mind mike hes big dog in dealership i said no thank you not interested and went to A1 same day and highly recommend them they got me into a 2010 SE 4cly and i couldn't be any more happy. despite there construction they were well put together and professional...

We recently purchased a new 2010 Toyota Camry LE from Toyota of Wallingford.

Habib Rehman sold us a new 2010 Toyota Camry even though he did not one on the
lot for us to test drive. [Pretty good salesmanship]. By the way, we love
our new Camry.

Everyone we dealt with was courteous and helpful.

We had purchased two Camry's previously from Toyota of Wallingford and would
certainly come back again when we are ready to purchase a new vehicle and would
highly recommend this dealer to our friends who may be in the market for a new
car.

When we brought our cars in for service, it was always efficient and quick
service. They always told us what needed to be done and the cost of the service
to be performed and obtained our OK for that service.

My Review of Toyota and Scion of Wallingford:
Had bought from 2 other local dealers before being referred here by a return buyer. Bought an '01 Camry from one with lots of pressure & getting the run-around with financing prices. The other, traded in the Camry for an '02 RAV-4. Not a bad experience, but when it came to service, was NEVER on time, even with an appointment. When my wife & I walked into Toyota of Wallingford, it just had a different feel to it. Not pressured, but more attentive to our needs. Funny thing, the salesman we bought our Camry from @ the first dealer & our RAV-4 from the second. Guess he found a good home here! Fit right in, but saw him after meeting our salesman, who was great also. After deciding on our vehicle ('09 RAV-4 Sport with leather seats:NICE!), we were told that the RAV's had to be ordered & built. Knowing how time deadlines work, we didn't expect the car to arrive exactly when quoted. Me, being patient, my wife, wanting it yesterday! Once it came in, it was sent out for the leather seats, coming back the next day. Great job on those & am glad we went with that option. Our RAV-4 Sport is Super White with black leather, adding a Bug Guard & chrome exhaust tip to match the chrome trim. One beautiful looking RAV! Something about ours makes it look like a customized one. Sharp!
All was dealt with professionalism, Todd being a very personable & knowledgable salesman. My only gripe is the amount of time spent @ the dealer every visit. Was almost 2 hours every time. Don't know how that one person did his paperwork in one hour, as we were told to expect to spend two hours for the purchase. The only "bad" thing I can say about our buying experience, & might partially be both @ fault. Hard to juggle multiple things @ once, so maybe treat buyers checking on their ordered car status the same as the ones that are @ the dealer?
Otherwise, our overall experience was a great one. Would definitly recommend this dealer to all. Everything was as stated, all courteous & respectful, & just a place we will definitly return to for our next purchase! Extremely satisfied!

My Review of Toyota and Scion of Wallingford:
This is, by far,the most professional and attentive auto dealership that we have ever dealt with. We identified a 2006 Hybrid Highlander (black or green only, less than 50K miles) as the vehicle of interest in Aug 2009. Steve promised that he would search his contacts as he did not have this vehicle on his lot. The search took some time and Steve kept us fully informed thruout the process. Meanwhile, Naeem regularly called us to update as well.
After 3 weeks of searching for the vehicle that met our needs, Steve located it in NY;a near mint condition model. He upgraded all areas needing attention and fully explained the vehicle's history via CarFax and AutoCheck reports. Took delivery yesterday. We are fully confident that we know the history of the vehicle and have the utmost confidence in Toyota of Wallingford.
This was truly a positive buying experience; and so much different from our past interactions with other dealers.
