In addition to annual service, we needed a repair to the transmission. The work was timely, and the transmission now works well. Unfortunately, the garage manager where we park found scratched paint the nex transmission. The work was timely, and the transmission now works well. Unfortunately, the garage manager where we park found scratched paint the next day over the right rear wheel. While we don’t know for sure that this happened at VW, the timing makes us suspicious. We have had one pleasant interaction with the VW service manager. But, since then, it has become simply unproductive phone tag. More
There was a slight hiccup with my scheduling and it wasn’t showing in the system; however, when I showed up and it wasn’t reflecting I had an appointment, they still saw me. Scheduled time to visit, car wasn't ready when we came. Had to ride with sales associate to a garage to test drive a filthy car (fried chicken, socks, etc. still in the car.) Still decided to purchase the car, asking that the car please be detailed before sale and they agreed and said it would be detailed the next day. I stated I wanted to purchase online - the sales associate agreed and then somehow when it came time to sign docs, I was being asked to come in to the store again. They were able to change back to online purchase and schedule a delivery to my home. I asked then that they confirm the car was detailed, and they confirmed. When the car was delivered, I noticed it wasn't clean and pointed out dirt in the seat. Was told "I confirmed myself it was detailed before I brought it. They must have just missed that spot". I opened the back door and the fried chicken and sock were still sitting there. Now I have to take my personal time to drive the car into the city to have it detailed. Unacceptable. More
