5 days after purchasing a used vehicle, the battery was DEAD. It needed replacing so I handled it at a local auto parts store. Before I went to the store I reached out to my salesperson from DTVW to let DEAD. It needed replacing so I handled it at a local auto parts store. Before I went to the store I reached out to my salesperson from DTVW to let them know the battery was faulty and needed replacing and was told that 'maybe they could do something to help me'. It's been 6 weeks and I've had to reach out too many times, been passed around from one person to another, and told to wait and see. At no point have I felt like a valued customer. The feeling I get is that IF they could reimburse me for the new battery ($190), it would come down to an accounting fumble (extra cash laying around at the end of March) and I should be grateful for their generosity. I don't expect any $$$, I don't expect a follow-up or follow-through, and unfortunately, I don't respect whatever inspection they put their pre-owned vehicles through. The bottom line is I bought the car I wanted. It needed a new battery and hopefully, that is all it needs for a while. More
