After reviewing a well constructed web-page, I called Gilland Ford and spoke with John Sanders about a new 2024 Tremor. In a few short minutes, we established an excellent rapport (Both Veterans) and quickly crunched some good numbers on both the new Tremor and the 2023 trade-in Tremor. I pride myself on being a good judge of character, and John came across as an honest man with integrity above all else!
I made the 3.5 hour drive from Atlanta after he repeatedly assured me that everything would be exactly as presented over the phone.
As he promised.... the whole transaction (including very painless paperwork with Elijah Shelley!) was smooth, relaxed and expeditious.
The best part was John staying over an hour past closing time to help me switch over the expensive bed cover I had just purchased and several other items that were not included with the generous trade-in deal.
He also spent a considerable amount of time after hours programming all the FordPass features so I could enjoy BlueCruise and all the other tech features that he knew played a big part in my decision to upgrade from a 2023 Tremor truck that I absolutely loved to a 2024 model.
His product knowledge was outstanding. He quickly answered all my tech questions and made it very clear that I was to call him anytime down the road if I had any concerns.
As a retired Delta Air Lines pilot, I recognize and appreciate good customer service when I see it, and I definitely saw it from John!
Gilland Ford and Ford Motor Company as a whole should hold John Sanders up as the role model to compare all other salespeople with.
I suggest a significant raise immediately!!
