This is the first time I've really spent any money fixing it (it's a 2016), so it's been a really solid car with minimal issues. And you can't beat the free loaner car! They even came to my house to pick my car up and drop it back off once it was repaired.

Very professional. I had the pleasure of working with Zach and Kyle during my purchase of a used vehicle. They went above and beyond. I was treated with respect and kindness during each encounter. The only encounter that was not top-notch was when I returned my vehicle to the service department for a service that was part of the sales agreement and because my used vehicle was not an Audi brand the service desk personnel dismissed me to the garage.. but fortunately someone overheard how I was being treated and stepped in with courtesy and respect. It was the best car buying experience in my 62 years of life thus far. Thank you!

Buying a car is never a good experience. And for most of us, we only have to buy a car when necessary...for "need", not for "want". Car sales people can come across as aggressive, uninformed, and simply want to close a deal. Yep, most are xxxxx. We needed a car, checked online with VW, Honda, Nissan, and did a drive by at Tampa Audi. 1. Damian greeted us. 7pm. Polite. Respectful. Considerate. An absolute professional. 2. Damian showed us cars...new, pre-owned, certified, and knew most details of all of the models. 3. Damian made us feel welcome. Because of Damian, we bought a Q5 the next day. 4. He continues to follow up with us. Between Damian (our professional Audi sales dude), and Vlad (our Audi tech who can walk us through the details of the car), and Benjamin, the finance professional....no complaints. Thank you Damian, and Audi Tampa.

Buyer beware! Stay away from Audi Clearwater! We purchased a 2023 Audi Q5 in February 2025 and have had the same problem since then. We brought the car in three times for service and they told me it was corrected. I met with David, the dealership manager and explained the situation to him. He said there will not be a fourth time we will trade! David went back on his word and we had to bring it back a fourth time. Now they tell me there's nothing wrong with the car. Don't trust David or service. They are incompetent.

I bought my second new Audi Q5 Quattro last week at the Wesley Chapel Audi. First car was A6. Both times, the General Manager, Michael Cronk work with me in negotiating the deal including taking my A6. He was and is very kind, and truly professional. Sean Reilly, the Brand Specialist thoroughly explained about the new car with smiles from beginning to the end which made me very comfortable. Also Daniel Palladino answered all my questions as the same kind manner as Michael and Sean. I highly recommend this dealership because of their wonderful attitudes, professionalism and best customer services.

My experience with Sunset Volkswagen has been nothing short of a nightmare, and I am writing this review to warn anyone considering doing business with them: do not. Back in May, we purchased a 2018 Hyundai Sonata with only 67,000 miles on it; a mileage that should not raise major concerns for a vehicle of that year. Within two weeks, we began experiencing engine knocking and other concerning noises after driving less than 100 miles. When we reached out for help, we were met with silence and deflection. Our original salesman, Michael, who had been all smiles at the time of purchase, suddenly disappeared; no returned calls, no responses to texts. From there, everything spiraled: Within 30 days, the air conditioning system completely failed. Within 60 days, the axle and engine mounts went out. Within 90 days, water began leaking into the cabin. By 120 days, the alternator failed. Now, less than six months later, the engine is burning oil at an alarming rate (likely pistons or another major engine component), and the thermostat has failed. All told, I have put over $3,500 in repairs into this car — on top of the $14,000 purchase price. At this rate, I could have bought a more reliable vehicle outright from a reputable brand. And let’s be clear; this isn’t just about money. These failures are serious safety hazards. A failed axle or engine mount can cause catastrophic accidents on the highway. An alternator or thermostat failure can leave a driver stranded in dangerous situations. An engine burning oil at this rate is not just a mechanical inconvenience; it’s a fire hazard and a potential death trap. Sunset Volkswagen sold me a car that could have endangered me, my family, and others on the road. This dealership claims their vehicles are “inspected” and “maintained to the highest quality.” That is an outright lie. Either they knowingly sold me a lemon, or they are so negligent in their inspections that they completely missed multiple major issues that became glaringly obvious within weeks. Neither explanation is acceptable. It is obvious Sunset Volkswagen has no interest in accountability or customer care. Once they make the sale, you are on your own. Their silence and refusal to address our concerns speak volumes. I am writing this review as both a frustrated customer and a cautionary tale. If you are considering buying from Sunset Volkswagen, understand the risks: you may end up with an unsafe, unreliable, and costly vehicle, while the dealership washes their hands of any responsibility. For your safety and your wallet, take your business elsewhere.
