Since 2019, I have had the pleasure with EXCELLENT customer service from Dick Norris which is now Tasca Dealership. The exceptional service I have received are from the following individuals. Mike Bennett, David with the goatee, Luke, and Toby service manager. All of these gentlemen have provided me with extraordinary customer service. All of them were professional, upbeat, funny, and overall honest. In this particular time in life, it is hard to feel comfortable with so many people/companies taking advantage of others. I have never felt that way with this team at this dealership. They always told me what I would need in the future to budget myself for the next repair. My 2008 Buick Lacrosse CXL lasted for 208,000 same engine because of these guys and the techs as well. I no longer have the Lacrosse because she served her purpose since 2014 with my family. I've been running my credit for vehicles at this dealership and I can't believe they doesn't allow consumers to ask for supervisors. Today Oct 2 2024 I spoke with a salesman that says he deals directly with finance but he doesn't know that the Consumer credit transaction is governed by Truth in lending act and that full disclosure shall be met even if I didn't sign the contract. He admitted that the dealership engages in fraud by misleading consumers into believing down payments are necessary 15 USC 1605 says no comparable cash transaction necessary when finance charge is present the finance charge is a loan( Purchase Money Loan) to be exact which is a cash advance by exchange of promissory Note aka contracts. I asked for financing director or the GM he said I didn't need to speak with them I said your dealership has my social security number which makes them trustees to my trust and their Fiduciary obligations is for my best interest which is sale me the car . If anyone went to this dealership and paid a down payment you were defrauded APR is the cost of the consumers credit which we are secured party creditors in this transaction.

Helpful Sales Associate, But Pricing Was a Dealbreaker Rachel, our Sales and Leasing Associate, was attentive, professional, and respectful of our time while we were searching for a truck. We initially planned to purchase a 2025 model, but she introduced us to a 2024 GMC Sierra that had just come off lease — low mileage, clean Carfax, and clearly well cared for by the previous owner. It was a truck I genuinely liked. That said, while we were prepared to pay cash, we were told the out-the-door price would be increased by $1,000 because we weren’t financing through the dealership. The explanation was that this charge offsets the profit the dealership would’ve received from financing — and while we understood the logic, after praying on it, we felt the move came off as a little slimy with Financing. At that point, the vehicle hadn't been detailed or inspected yet, but we had already put a $1,000 hold on it. During the wait, we continued researching and noticed that the market had a strong supply of similar 2024 GMC Sierras due to short-term leases ending. We ultimately went with a broker/concierge who helped us secure a nearly identical Sierra — same year, similar mileage — for $5,000 less out the door. While it didn’t include the step bars, bedliner protection, or cover, we’ll add those ourselves for far less than the difference (about 40% of the savings). When we received a counteroffer by text, it wasn’t even close to competitive — and at that point, the math just didn’t make sense. I do appreciate the dealership's lifetime warranty offer, but honestly, from everything I’ve read and researched about the GMC Sierra 1500, it’s built to last. Increasing profits through used cars being financed is a debatable practice — I personally don’t think it’s something you build a foundation upon. But after reading the practices talked about in the reviews, it’s clear the lens of what’s ethical or moral is in question. I hope the $1,000 refundable deposit is actually refunded to my bank account. That said — Rachel was a standout. If you do decide to shop here, ask for Rachel. She was the best part of the experience, and someone I’d gladly work with again.

The service department at Jim Browne Chevrolet GMC in Dade City were terrific to deal with. They replaced the windshield and repaired paint defects on the vehicle I purchased. They also replaced all the locking hub nuts and repaired a leaky tire. They were extremely responsive and repaired the vehicle without hesitation. I will take all my vehicles to Jim Browne for service given the attention they paid us. They provided the best customer service!

So Glad I Found My Perfect Ride Here! I recently leased a new GMC Terrain and I couldn't be happier. Johnathan, was incredibly knowledgeable about the 4 different vehicles I had my mind on, and he patiently answered every question I had. He even helped me compare the 4 different vehicles with all the trim levels to find the perfect fit for my needs. At one point, I decided I might want to purchase instead of lease, so he went through the options in that format as well. Unlike other dealerships I visited, surprisingly, there was absolutely no pressure to buy and absolutely no high-pressure sales tactics. Just to be sure I wasn’t making the process to easy on them; I decided on a vehicle that wasn’t on-site, but they located it and had it in the parking lot before the end of the day. The financing process was simple and transparent. Jacob clearly explained all my options and helped me secure a great interest rate. He found a few rebates that I wasn't aware of. I also appreciated the clean and comfortable atmosphere of the dealership (they are kid friendly!). This group is genuine and helped me find the right car, not just to make a sale.

To be fair, this negative review is only about the warranty claims department at this dealership, not the service department per se. In mid-July of this year, I submitted the paperwork to be reimbursed for the replacement of the windshield wiper motor on my 2015 GMC Terrain due to a recall. The motor went bad prior to the recall. The service advisor told me that it would take up to two weeks for me to be reimbursed for the replacement. A month later, I still had no heard anything from this dealership. I called the warranty claims department and was told that it was pending but that I would be called a couple later with an update. I heard nothing from him. By last week, I still had not heard anything. I called again left a message. I was called a day later and was told that the claim was still pending. What???? It is completely inexcusable for me not to be reimbursed by this time. It also completely unprofessional for the dealership not to give me periodic updates on this claim.

I highly regret purchasing my car from this dealership. The vehicle I wanted was limited and hard to come by. I wish I had bought a car from out of state and had it shipped to me instead. If I had done more research ahead of time, I would have seen this dealership has an "F" rating with the Better Business Bureau. The following is a very broad overview of my experience. I purchased my vehicle (a 2009 Pontiac Solstice Coupe GXP) at the end of September 2009. During the course of several visits, we had a lot of conversations about the vehicle and features. I was advised by one of my 2 salesmen that the vehicles price was starting at $10,000 over MSRP because it had an upgraded package that included a paint protectant. He described it as an upgraded clear coat/top coat that would help the paint life. He told me all 3 of the Solstice Coupes they had on the lot had the upgrade, and gave me the impression it was already ON the car. During the course of negotiations, the price was worked down to only a couple thousand over MSRP. At no time during the conversation was I advised any features were being removed from the car/package. Several months later I became unhappy with the way the paint was holding up. I contacted the dealership to find out what company did the paint protectant so that I could see if it had a warranty. After several phone calls I received the information that I had factory paint--there was no paint protectant. At that point the salesman and one of the sales managers were telling me there was never any mention of a paint protectant to their knowledge. After several visits and many long, heated discussions, they looked at my car and said it was normal wear and tear so could not be warrantied by Pontiac, either. I filed a complaint with GM directly. The dealership's story then changed. Now they are saying I would have received a paint protectant if I had paid $10,000 over MSRP, but since I only paid a few thousand over, they had to "remove" features during negotiation. This is different than their first story and this was never discussed during any of my visits prior to purchasing. Overall, I am very dissatisfied with the way I was treated. When I have been able to speak with someone at the dealership, they are unable to give me any straight answers and usually have to put me on hold for awhile or call me back with their response. I feel their customer service level is way below satisfactory. I am not happy with the end result, I would not recommend this dealership, and I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

Worst customer service ever! I found a car I loved at Mott's. Had to drive to Orange Park to do the loan closing (nearest Chase Bank). I was on my way back and called to let Mott's know I had the check but could not get there until 11:45 (they closed at 12:00). The woman I spoke with very rudely told me I needed to be there by 11:00 for them to see me the vehicle. I explained that it was impossible since I was driving from Jacksonville. She adamantly told me no one would stay to sell me the vehicle. I asked about their hours during the week. She said I needed to be there by 4pm to buy the vehicle. I explained that I work and could not be there that early. She said sorry with so much attitude I could not believe what I was hearing. I asked if she was seriously telling me I'd have e to take my business elsewhere because no one there would stay a few minutes to seek me this car. She said the car wasn't going anywhere, that I'd figure it out. I asked again if someone could stay a few minutes, she said, "no, we don't do that". So I took my business to Walt's. Let me tell you about Walt's. They found me a car I love, found a lender and argued to get me an awesome interest rate. Had the car detailed and the gas talk full and had me out the door in less than 2 hours. I even got a hug before leaving. That is what customer service is all about. They have my business and my family's business for life.
